Although , President Trump gave an excellent speech on his intended direction, he came up short in realizing tariff sharing for all US citizens, not just military bonuses only. After all, we pay through many means, directly and indirectly for our honorable armed forces.
The speech came off as an excuse for not sharing tariff money for all. Also, not an effective use of The Bully Pulpit, for furthering such vs. congressional stonewalling. ✖️

President Trump has done more in one year than most could do in four. His first year has been setting things in motion, we will not see the full effect for years.
To expect one man to correct bad policies with the amount of opposition he has in one year is very short sighted. I will wait until he is out of office before I grade his administration.

Nice. I think you have the right idea. It won’t be long before he gives his State of the Union address, but that won’t be enough to silence his critics. If there are a million mistakes he could make and he only makes 10,000 then that’s still pretty damned good.

Networks grudgingly ceded 20 minutes of their prime time, but no more, so they stuffed too much info into that slot fearing they’d get cut. Trump sounded uncharacteristically rushed, to my ear, sticking closely to the script with no ad libs.
Nets were tempted with the potential of some BIG news about Venezuela or elsewhere and weren’t happy with the rah-rah content and that they were suckered.
