FOX News host Greg Gutfeld on Friday's "The Five" said President Donald Trump has exposed Democrats for being "addicted to luxury beliefs at the expense of the American public."
"Trump is not just a correction, it's a kill switch," Gutfeld said. "He stopped the country, and in this case, the globe from barreling off a cliff. It leads me to ask one more question, Gillian, if I may. I want to ask you a question, where are the protesters who have been driving all of us nuts? You know, why shouldn't they be on the street rejoicing? Shouldn't they be happy? Or is there something that we always knew about them? They need to have other people suffering for them to find something to do?"
GILLIAN TURNER, FOX NEWS: Well, Greg, the president may feel snubbed, we don't know, because he this is something we know he wanted, but he is definitely not being snubbed by the rest of the world, like the media, Washington, his political opponents.
GREG GUTFELD, FOX NEWS CHANNEL HOST: Be grudgingly, I believe.
TURNER: They're all saying it's an amazing thing.
GUTFELD: I believe Trump derangement addiction is finally being licked. I joke, it's never going to go away.
This story is fun because we know that Trump deserves it, but we also knew he wasn't going to get it. This was just like a -- this was a recreational belief. The reason why he won't get it is that he's legitimately working on behalf of the American people. It's America first, not Belgium first, and European elites like that guy was talking they can't stand that -- they know Americans don't care, but it bothers them that the President doesn't because they're supposed to kneel before them.

Without “Luxury Belief” there wouldn’t be Starbucks.
I think “virtue signaling” is mostly made up of “luxury beliefs.”
Things you believe because those beliefs make you look good, like make-up, or an expensive car.
I guess Starbucks is kind of a status symbol, to young people anyway.
It's not just that such beliefs are stupid and destructive to the US, it's that everyone recognizes that, so the power to proclaim and force them on everyone displays who is really in charge.

I think Trump's Israel-Hamas cease fire is a catastrophe.
As you may know, Hamas has already violated the cease fire terms - just four bodies returned - no explanation or press coverage.
Israel spent two years cultivating non-Hamas political and business relationships in Occupied Gaza.
When Israel withdrew from some Gaza territory, Hamas immediately moved in and started murdering anyone who had cooperated with Israel.
Israel released hundreds of violent Hamas criminals back into Gaza.
To this day, most Americans have no idea that Hamas slaughtered 364 mostly un-armed civilians on 07 October 2023 at a music festival just three miles from the Gaza border.
Hamas is a criminal organization led by Jew Hating psychopaths.
And, now - Trump and the European Union are going to pay Hamas to rebuild Gaza.
That is completely insane.
