As the owner of the largest police news outlet in the world - The 1776 Project, which owns Law Enforcement Today, Blue Lives Matter and other platforms... I've seen some royally stupid moves in the last decade. But this one takes the cake.
Imagine passing your group off as a police organization... only to sell your soul, piss off your supporters and endorse the very person who hates cops. It's like the people running things woke up with a bad cheap wine hangover and mixed up a cocktail of TDS and liberal tears to try and get through their day. But on behalf of our nearly five million followers... let me say this: that hangover headache is about to get much worse.
Allow me to introduce you to the leadership of the group - who I'm pretty sure we can all agree is a bunch of salty, bitter old washouts who probably shouldn't be allowed to have a drivers license any more... much less cut their own meat.
When the Virginia Police Benevolent Association (PBA) announced its endorsement of Abigail Spanberger, law enforcement officers, deputies, and their families across the Commonwealth were blindsided — and rightly outraged. This decision wasn’t just a misstep. It was a direct betrayal of the men and women the PBA claims to represent.

According to the article, THEY DID.
We see a lot of this with unions, too. The top officials make all the endorsement decisions on their own. They make no attempt to consult with the membership. And there is no vote by the membership.
“”According to the article, THEY DID.””
Not the police just a higher up that tried to speak for them all
Expect to see more of this.
I read somewhere Spanberger used to be a federal investigator. Maybe she was a PBA member. Anyway, she’s horrible. Virginia needs Winsome Sears.
That’s not what the article says. The organization officially endorsed Spanberger, and won’t listen to any other opinions.
Why aren’t people withdrawing their membership dues? Does someone vote for leadership? Can they form a competing group?
The Democrat Party has grown so strong in Virginia that they feel the position they take doesn’t matter. People have been indoctrinated to vote “D” no matter what. I left Virginia 15 years ago with regrets but no longer.
“… Spanberger used to be a federal investigator.”
She has a BA in French Literature and an MBA. After graduating with her MBA, she had to take a job as a substitute English teacher at a Saudi high school. Then she got a job as a postal inspector, with no qualifications. How did she do that? Her dad was a career postal inspector and pulled some strings. Then she got a job at the CIA monitoring, in her words, “nuclear proliferation and terrorism”, neither of which she had any background in. She was posted in Europe, probably because of her French, but no one knows what she did or how she got her job. She then quits, or is fired (no one knows), and she gets a job with a company that advised educational institutions on how to get grant money.
She’s a fraud and totally unqualified to be governor.
That’s what I read.
U.S. Postal Inspector.
The headline had me wondering why the Pro Bowling Association was endorsing political candidates.
They would if Kyle Troupe was running for political office .. 😀
Thanks.
Spanberger is Deep State’s.
That’s the only qualification that matters to Deep State.
