Who ever thought that world-leadership could come from Canada? Not from hopeless bimbo Justin Trudeau, of course, but from Conservative opposition leader, Pierre Poilievre.
This week Poilievre made sensible comments about the situation in the Middle East. Not least about the evil colonial regime that has set the region on fire: the Revolutionary Islamic government in Iran. The Canadian media tried to make Poilievre back down.
But then Poilievre showed even more leadership. He replied: “I think the idea of allowing a genocidal, theocratic, unstable dictatorship that is desperate to avoid being overthrown by its own people to develop nuclear weapons is about the most dangerous and irresponsible thing that the world could ever allow. If Israel were to stop that genocidal, theocratic, unstable government from acquiring nuclear weapons, it would be a gift by the Jewish state to humanity.”
The current Canadian government and media are probably on life-support from hearing such truths.
But what Poilievre said was absolutely true.
Just imagine if the American government could show such leadership?
Instead, for the past year since October 7, 2023, the Biden-Harris administration has had only one message to our Israeli ally: “ceasefire.”

I agree. And a prime minister Polievre would be the best thing that could happen to Canada.
Biteme and heels-up aren’t ‘holding Israel back’. Only the Living God can restrain them—and it doesn’t look like He is in the mood to do so.
The Left in the US certainly have developed a self organizing buncha peeps to provide very sustainable BS on no shortage of issues.
“...I agree. And a prime minister Polievre would be the best thing that could happen to Canada...”
...And this is why the opposition parties are going to do everything in their power to make sure that Princess Justine’s position continues to remain as bear cub with its Momma until the absolute, bitter, legal end of his current term.
Unless he decides to do the decent thing and decide to step down, I think most Canadians fail to realise just how daunting of a task it will be to vote Mr. Castro out of power. He’s still got his traditional base amongst woke Millennials, and Baby Boomer women for whom “Trudeau” is still a magic word, like “Kennedy” in the US. Likewise, he has the millions upon millions (and increasing each year), of “migrants” that his administration have been allowing into the country.
My prediction is that, irrespective of what Monseiur Poilievre does from here on out, his chance of winning the next election is not as great as we’d hope. My prediction, as things stand right now, is that Princess Justine can continue to be Prime Minister for pretty much as long as it pleases him, even if he has to form coalitions to do it...
Here’s my problem with this:
Israel is an independent state, or it is a satrapy or military dependency of the United States. It can’t be both at the same time.
If it is an independent state, there should be no such thing as “Biden”, or “the US”, “holding them back”. Attack who they want to attack, kill who they want to kill, accept the consequences - I’m fine with that. Seriously. Nuke Iran if they want to, before Iran nukes them. Independent states can and should look out for their own interests.
BUT
If Israel is independent EXCEPT when it comes to supplies of weapons, money, control of the UN Security Council, and advanced surveillance and forward air defense - then Israel is not independent at all, and in exchange for what we do for them, without which their existence would disappear- THEN, as our military dependency they had damn well better listen to what our government has to say, and even follow orders if it is important enough to us.
Which is it?
Harris and Biden are terrorists appeasers.
Nah. They’re flat out terrorists.
Exactly right. Israel should do what Israel needs to do, but not if they over extend themselves because they are depending on the US taxpayers funding it.
You are correct. The mere "moral suasion" argument is a false one. The US supplies most of Israel's weapons, probably a lot of intel, and direct financial aid.
Tie yourself so closely to the US deep-state, and you WILL dance to their tune.
Its been this way pretty much since Israel's founding.
No more anything to israel. No more money, weapons, supplies, aid, support, or lives and blood. Let them sink or swim on their own.
We shouldn’t be sending a single dollar overseas.
The third possibility is that Netanyahu has enough support in the US that he’ll do what he wants, whatever the US government or the UN tells him to do.
Watch Bibi get massive ovations in Congress and then ask if Biden (or Harris or Obama or Bush or Trump) is going to be the one giving the orders.
Anyone who questions whether Israel should eliminate Hezbollah should go to their nearest Barnes and noble and lookk for a copy of _Strategy and Tactics_ Nov Dec 2024 page 58. It has an astonishing list of Hezbollah’s assets including 120,000 missiles, 30,000 full time trained light infantry. The story notes after the last incursion that Irsrael withdrew and Hezbollah simply reoccupied the territory and began the process all over again. This time there should be no withdrawal until Hezbollah is eliminated.
Yes, but there are 330 million Americans, only 535 on Bibi's payroll, your observations about the trained seals in Congress are spot-on but misleading.
Guess you think that Trump is on Israel’s payroll also? You dough your head, MAGA is , and is going to continue to be to be pro- Israel. Go find another movement never- Trumper.
GET OUT OF EVERY GLOBALIST ORG, THAT SHOULD SAV3 TONS OF MONEY.
Trump says that he supports Israel 100 percent. You guys are out of liluck. You could always vote for Stien
And don’t even think about coming at me with that I care more about Israel than the US bs.
