Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a message to the Lebanese people on Tuesday, urging them to “take back your country” from Hezbollah and from Iran, which arms and funds the terrorist organization.
Netanyahu spoke on a day when Israel took control of the border town of Maroun al-Ras, formerly a Hezbollah stronghold from which the terror organization had fired on Israeli communities — and which had featured a statue of Iranian general Qasem Soleimani pointing toward Israel. (Soleimani was killed in an airstrike in Iraq ordered by then-President Donald Trump in 2020.)
Israel’s advance is seen as a major blow to Hezbollah and to Iran.

Good Advice.
It ain't gonna be easy.
He needs some Jets though :).
My friend Naji (RIP) Ghantous told me stories about how great it was before Islam came in. His parents brought the family to America where they became legal citizens. He was a hard-working, proud American. We worked together in a factory. He was a machinist. He had worked on ships in the Mediterranean.
He’s correct philosophically, but it’s a platitude. In reality, that is like telling regular Germans circa 1943 to rise up and remove Hitler and the SS.
Regular Lebanese simply do not have the combat power to do what he says. That takes outside help.
Used the be the Paris of the Mediterranean. Simply amazing, peaceful, classy and beautiful.
Good thought Netanyahu. Islam does not recede from lands that it has taken control of. Barbarians without borders are about expansion. Taking out their totalitarian leaders may prove effective though.
