I offer the ‘Pierre Trudeau salute’ to the CDC (and Health Canaduh), regarding vaccines. (For those unfamiliar with Rocky Waterhole (aka Pierre Trudeau), his salute, offered to Western Canadians on many occasions, involves raising the middle finger while having all other digits clenched in a fist.)
After all the lying, misinformation, and outright extortion the U.S. government did during Covid I'm done with vaccines. This coming from someone who did take the first round of Covid vaccines (Moderna).

Unless I had reason to think I had a high risk factor for serious illness or death in connection to SARS-CoV-2 taking a vaccine for it would be an hysterical overreaction.
But since that initial decision was made the government and media have heaped on far more important questions of trust and principle. Because what I see there is deceit, bad faith and malevolence in connection to the vaccines which outweighs any personal health concerns and sets my mind in adamantine opposition to taking it.
With those two implacable reasons to refrain from vaccinating I don't need to struggle with the debates over safety issues. "Safe as spring water" would be a wholly inadequate argument to overcome my objections to taking them.

People’s best bet is to try and get themselves healthier. While I have been generally healthy since the beginning of 2020, I know I could be better. I needed to lose some weight. About 30 lbs. So far, I have lost 11 lbs since Halloween. Not blazing fast weight loss, but something I can maintain.
They spent an entire year lying to people. Now, they’re alarmed that no one believes them anymore?

The CDC director under Obama, Tom Frieden, once told America that “you cannot catch Ebola from a cough or sneeze.”
He was made to eat those words on TV by Dr. Sanjay Gupta. It’s a very simple thing to see. Google “cough and sneeze” and see the videos.
That said, THIS is the type of directors CDC gets. Political hacks, and that Walensky woman was one of the worst. Under her aegis, CDC redefined what a vaccination is, helped Biden denigrate and deny credible medications that could be used against Covid, and completely abandoned CDC’s long-held position on herd immunity (because the VAXX actually causes Covid in many cases).
Only the most rabid leftists are getting jabbed at this point. I’m good with that.
