Governor Glenn Youngkin (R-VA) said Wednesday on Fox Business Network’s “Mornings with Maria” that Republicans must embrace early voting.
Anchor Maria Bartiromo said, “You are also urging Republicans take advantage of early voting. Talk to us about the Secure Your Vote Initiative how early voting could impact the election.”
Youngkin said, “Well we have, we have our midterms this year huge elections entire House entire Senate up. I believe it is the most important election in America. The reason is that we can demonstrate in 24 short months that a state with completely controlled by liberal left can in fact change direction, with our statewide sweep back in 2021. Now we need to have told our House flip our Senate. At heart of it is getting Republicans off the sidelines, making a plan to vote early.”

VA Democrats enacted 45-day voting when they had control of the state government. Youngkin can't change that because Republicans don't have control of the senate. He's not saying that he's a fan of early voting, he's saying that since we have to live with early voting this election, Republicans should vote early like Democrats do.
Yeah, if as the communists say, voting is much too important for people’s vote to be missed, then it’s important enough to drag your ass out on election day.
Anything else is just a setup for fraud.
You display an alarming amount of common sense in your post. Rather refreshing I might add.
Yes but who does the counting didn’t work out in 2020.
Windows covered up for security huh.
The democrats use early voting to commit mass vote fraud. Unless the GOP is will to do the same then this will make little difference. And if the GOP cheats then all hell will be unleashed on them by the DOJ and the MSM.
The idea that elections determine anything is the “utopian election scenario”.
He’s correct. If that is the system in place we must deal with it, not avoid it. The Democrats know who has voted or not and can continue to contact those who have not voted. Republicans can’t do that by pushing “only vote on election day” - giving the Democrats a huge advantage. And no matter how determined you are to vote, something will come up for a small percentage of those individuals to prevent it - family emergency, got sick, distracted and just forget, etc. Not a winning strategy.
It's had the opposite effect. They know exactly where to harvest and how much. Giving them a huge advantage the Republicans can't compete with by design.
I used to think the same thing…..,.until the lines became 3-4 hour wait a thons.
Seriously, I don’t believe that.
It Flys in the face of common sense
Nonsense.
Republicans deal with a fixed number of voters who each vote once. It makes little difference if they vote early or late.
Democrats have ballots, which far exceed the number of their voters. They are already accumulating ballots which will be added to their votes at 3 am on election night after the early counts tell them how many they need to throw in the hopper to beat any Republican lead.
This has been going on since 2018 and the Republicans haven’t done anything about it.
We’ve got to manage the decline!
But the idiots who want to continue litigating 2020 have wasted 3 years ignoring the elephant in the room. Now it’s just about to late.
But very few here want to hear anything that doesn’t fit their narrative.
“...until the lines became 3-4 hour wait a thons.”
I doubt that happened by accident. They made that happen to get people to clamor for mail voting.
Our county has done a good job maintaining voting centers. I rarely have to wait more than ten minutes, usually five.
They have precincts all over. Actually, our elections are pretty well run. While polling places are harder to find, they’ve managed pretty well.
Yep. Election Day voting and paper ballots removed any doubt.
Sure Fraud by Mail works really well for the Democrats.
You be sure and let us know when you get that done in all 50 states.
Thanks.

It’s interesting that Youngkin is weighing in. He’s been pretty quiet since becoming governor. Now he’s making a point of weighing in on the issue on a national show like Mornings with Maria. Could be he’s flirting with the idea of entering the race.
