Injunction against Illinois' Un-Constitutional "Assault Weapons Ban" has been granted by the US District Court! They cite the clear violation of the Second Amendment which includles the indivual right to bear arms (in common use) and US Supreme Court Precedent.
Clearly the court recognized that Illinois' "Assault Weapons Ban" was written in defiance of the US Constitution and legal precedent.
At this point, JB PRICKSTER and KWAME RAOUL are all but guaranteed to lose if they appeal to the IL Supreme Court, who'll simply uphold the Appellate Court's finding.
Fatboy PRICKSTER and RAOUL wouldn't stand an ice cubes chance in hell of winning, in front of the USSC if they're dumb enough to try and go that far.
In summary: UP YOURS FATBOY PRICKSTER and KWAME RAOUL!!
What is the scope of this District Court ruling? Outside Illinois? Only within the same U.S. District? I ask hoping that the ruling can at least be cited in the lawsuits filed just this week against Idiot Inslees’ “assault weapons” ban signed in my state just this Tuesday.
The Judge applied the injunction to the entire State of Illinois.

Washington State did the same thing, so are other states right now. They're all going to get smacked down and they know it. As the Progtards like to say, the punishment is the process.
They're going to keep at it until people on our side get tired of fighting it and/or the Progtards take over the courts and do this all by judicial fiat.
I'm just glad I'll be dead soon (relatively speaking) and won't live long enough to see that.

Some/most/all(?) the suits were combined and the judge issued the injunction for the entire state.
If you're so inclined to read the entire 29 page smack-down the judge gave Fatass Prickster and Smarmy Raoul, it's quite a good read. It made me smile. A LOT.

Very gun and is commonly used for safety by hunters, and for rescue operations. In fact, such
a launcher is required by the U.S. Coast Guard on larger vessels on navigable waterways for
launching flares. (Doc. 88, pp. 40-44).”
That is a quote of a footnote on page 7 of the opinion. I wonder how many boats in Illinois are required to have a flare gun per Coast Guard regs.
