This whole gun control issue is a national Kabuki Dance that will continue in perpetuity.
Both sides collect ungodly amounts of cash promising their side that “this time by god we're going to get it fixed”.
They don't and the scam starts again with the renewed appeal for more cash.

The whole damn thing officially started with the wretched GCA of 1968 which cost me a NIB PPK and a mint Browning Hi Power. I was stationed in Germany when it passed and I couldn’t legally bring them back. White hot hatred for gun control ever since.
