The Drudge Report, Matt Drudge’s right-leaning news aggregator ran a headline on Friday declaring former President Donald Trump threatened Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg in a Thursday Truth Social post, which Trump deleted on Friday afternoon.

Honestly I like Trump and would gladly vote for him again but far too many of his tweets and statements, now and during his presidency were counterproductive, highly counterproductive.
He basically hands his opponents ammo to use against him. While you might see the humor in it, many people do not and if you want to win the Presidency again, you have to convince a heck of a lot of middle of the road people to vote for you. Poorly thought out reactionary tweets that are insulting and that can easily be misconstrued are not going to help you win those folks hearts, minds and votes. He already has his base in his corner but the base alone is not going to win an election.
It was not even funny and has no benefit. Trump needs to be kept in a basement until after the election. Hey, it worked for Brandon.
Agree with that much. There's a lot of bad stuff going on right now in America and in the world, and this gedunk bs is all look see squirrel.

It’s kind of disheartening to scroll thru the comments and see so many people who should know better making anti-Trump comments. My hunch is that most of these people would rather vote for De Santis or even Haley or Pence. Some of them may even be Media-Dem Party plants coming here to stir the pot.

Do I disagree with a lot of what PTrump says? Yes. The vax thing is wildly wrong, too.
He is, however the only President in my lifetime who has actively fought to maintain preeminence of US interests and values. I consider him our last stand.

I think President Trump is the worthless shepherd from Zachariah 11 and our generation is the flock that's been fed for slaughter.

There is more than one way to interpret what Trump posted. One way is that he views all the attacks on him like balls that he will hit out of the park. He may not have even thought about the way that it would look like a threat.
