A Louisiana convenience store worker was fired after a video went viral of her tossing a bucket of water on a homeless woman sitting outside the store in below-freezing temperatures.
Video shows a female employee at the Triple S Food Mart in Baton Rouge confronting a homeless woman who was sitting in front of the store on a brisk 26-degree day over the Christmas holiday weekend.
“Move! Not telling y’all again. Move it!” the worker can be heard exclaiming in the video. “Clear the —- out!” Abdullah Mufahi, the store’s owner, fired the employee featured in the video within 24 hours of the video going viral, WAFB reported.

I can understand his frustration but that was a bit harsh.
Sounds like assault to me.
It’s government’s job to find a way to deal with homelessness. Instead they’re spending our money on pork projects and spying on us.
It was cold! Perhaps hot coffee would have been more compassionate.

Glad they fired the beyotch.
Below freezing is not "brisk" in my book. It is damn cold (Yeah, I live in AZ, where 95 is "warm").
The girl (she is a cutie, BTW) was deservedly fired.
Battery, actually, but yep
Hope your thread remains in “news”.

At least, if it’s cold enough, throwing water on someone is fatal.
And sending billions overseas to protect other countries borders.
Yeah. In other words, nothing that benefits the taxpayers, but only harms them instead. I understand the frustration of having to deal with homeless people camping on other peoples’ property, but it’s ultimately not the fault of them or the homeless. These incidents will only increase as the government does nothing.
She should be in jail.
My friend owned a restaurant downtown where a similar-looking homeless guy would stand in the street outside, harassing his patrons, mostly wanting money, but also commenting about their appearance and dropping F-bombs.
If you want to make well-off, white, urban, leftist restaurant customers really uncomfortable, have a disheveled homeless black guy direct his vitriol at them.
No reason for that assault is apparent.
If the woman is defecating on the premises and I had to clean it up, I’d take a different point of view.

There were several and judging by their “furnishings” that was their home.
Where do you think they were defecating?
Agreed.
with homeless people camping on other peoples’ property, but it’s ultimately not the fault of them or the homeless.”
Whose fault is it then? This is part of the problem. Making the homeless into victims instead of forcing them to get jobs like everybody else. I understand many of them are mentally ill and they should be in hospitals. Many are criminals and should be in jail. That is the fault of the government and so called homeless advocates.
Heartless and dangerous thing to do, evil. Hope the punishment on this wakes her up.
I’m as unhappy as anyone about this homeless situation.
That doesn’t mean I want to see physical or life threatening
harm to them.
Pouring water on someone in the cold, is not a reasoned thing
to do. In 26 degree weather it could easily be life
threatening.
