with homeless people camping on other peoples’ property, but it’s ultimately not the fault of them or the homeless.”
Whose fault is it then? This is part of the problem. Making the homeless into victims instead of forcing them to get jobs like everybody else. I understand many of them are mentally ill and they should be in hospitals. Many are criminals and should be in jail. That is the fault of the government and so called homeless advocates.
The government could end homelessness any time it wanted. Vagrancy was once illegal, as it should be today. Once arrested, their status can be determined and the proper action taken. At least half of them are mentally ill from what I’ve seen. They should be in institutions, but the government closed them all down and tossed all the patients onto the street. No one benefitted from that. Many of the others are fugitives who should be in jail. The rest can be given basic housing as long as they’re willing to work.

The Commies closed the looney bins to foist the mentals’ freedoms upon
society, fostering division and overextending services.
It was cheaper to keep the looney bins.
