That was due to the new ranked voting system and open primaries. Palin had 60% approval rating and would have won without the last minute election law changes by the Dims and assistant Dims. The Dim MSM then crows about how they are winning after a loosing streak to demoralize Pubbies.

I believe it. I can’t think of too many candidates who impress me in any kind of way. They come off stupid and unhinged. There is also some kind of a madness that is overtaking the conservative/right-wing movement at the moment, with people behaving no better than members of the Church of Scientology. FIRST of all, rape and incest should be Capital crimes. Fiscal responsibility for care of any resultant children should rest permanently upon the estate of the deceased until the child reaches the age of majority.
Get that legal footing into place and then we’ll see better numbers. It’s still immoral to kill the innocent to spare a victim from a consequence. The baby, if unwanted, could be taken by c-sec at a stage well past viability. Maybe SEEING the child would be a last checkpoint to confirm the mother’s decision; a face-to-face moment for her to get a firm fix on who she’s thinking of saying “No” to.
From there, all the paths kinda suck, with adoption sucking the least; but being killed for being unwanted is NOT The Right Answer.

That makes no sense. If...like you claim...Palin voters were tricked into voting for someone else due to the format of the primary, then they surely would make Palin their second choice right? The Begich voters were not Republicans, the Dems had better turnout!
Well those “innocent lives” are usually thrown into an abusive foster care system and their lives end up being horrible for the most part unless they are lucky enough to be adopted into a loving family. Then we say that we cannot use our tax dollars to support them. We cannot have it both ways.
So you’d have those lives taken because you think so little of others? That every ‘saved’ innocent would live a life of misery and despair? Nonsense. You must be a real joy to be around.

It is naive at best to think these kids are going to be born into favorable circumstances!
The folks here are not wrong about the hatred that normal Americans have for the Democrats. That’s the whole premise of the “red wave”.
But those same people are BLIND to the hatred that normal Americans have for Republicans. As the organized GOP continues to betray and betray our President, and the nation, they will fall further and further behind.
A party that would:
Close the border
Forbid hiring of illegals
And quit NATO
That party would carry the nation in a landslide.
Unfortunately, that party does not exist.
And, besides "we're not those guys", which of the following non-negotiable GOP positions would you suggest putting in front of the public before election day:
1) Open borders
2) A global open market in labor
3) Offshoring productive industries
4) Financialization of the economy
5)) Severing the medium of exchange function of money from the store of value function.
6) Usury as the main engine of consumption.
7) Denying the people their natural, healthy love of their nation
8) Overseas wars on behalf of alien peoples without recompense for our sacrifice.
9) Forced "diversity" with its attendent decline in standards and inevitably accompanying violence.
It's not the "message". It's the reality of the situation.
But why should they do that when they love him so?
