Mayor Eric Adams declared the US has entered into a recession and “Wall Street is collapsing” – contradicting President Joe Biden’s claims that the nation is doing fine earlier Thursday.
“You tell me what to take off the plate if you want me to put something else on the plate. I’m coming to you as a city and saying, ‘This is how much we have, that’s it,” the Big Apple mayor said during an event in Staten Island at Sanzer Yeshiva hosted by nonprofit Project Hospitality, according to a report in Hamodia.
“We are in a financial crisis like you can never imagine,” he added.
“Wall Street is collapsing; we are in a recession.”

Adams later walked back the comments.
“The president will make a determination on the official title of where we are; that’s the president, and I follow the lead of the president. We’re dealing with tough economic times, but we’re going to get through it, because I trust in the president,” he told Hamodia.
Well Adam has certainly been doing his part to help the recession and the Wall Street collapse what is he done what leadership is he provided none

Adams wants to run for POTUS someday, the DNC basically told him, if he ever wants to run, he’d better toe the line.
At times like this, you need to be pretty prudent about the
cards you play. Over the top frank comments can panic people.
That won’t help. Some of them are business owners and
already a bit skittish.

Wall Street may be collapsing, but the stock exchange data center in New Jersey where the trades happen is working just fine.
C’mon Eric, man. It’s not a recession under the new Biden rule. The one that says Joe Biden can never be blamed for anything.
Yes the US is in recession, no doubt about that. We live in very strange economic times and discernment is going to be key going forward.
Maybe he should be looking at the DOW today. This week is on an upswing.
