There are now 23 Democrats who won't seek reelection in the 2022 midterms as Representative Albio Sires from New Jersey plans to retire and party leadership desperately grips their slim majority in the House....

...With a series of upcoming retirements, Democrats' majority in the House looks increasingly vulnerable, and Pelosi can only afford to lose three seats in order to keep her party in power....

If only ‘bloodbath’ were more than a metaphor.

As the Democrats trend more bizarre every day, watch their mainstream media allies also begin to pull away from them, if only just a little.

They might have been okay being identified with a "progressive" agenda, but nobody wants to be identified with a train wreck.

I’m saying the real period of danger will be the lame duck period for this Congress. If they lose large, they will be emboldened to pass the kitchen sink between election day and the start of the new session.

This is why having Manchin move over to the GOP is critical. It gives the GOP control over what moves in the Senate, and neutralizes the threat of a lame duck session from hell.

Don’t think you’ve seen the last of some of them. They’ll either head for K Street and the big money or bloviate on CNN or NBC. Some like my rep Bustos may take a few years off but I’ll miss my bet if she doesn’t already have her eyes on Durbin’s seat when he finally croaks or quits.

They’ll just figure they’ve milked Congress for all it’s worth and time to move on to greener pas$ture$.

A “midterm bloodbath”. WOW!!!!

Are any of these Democrats in districts where the ‘22 race is even remotely a toss up? Or are they all, or mostly, in very safe Democratic districts that will elect another Democrat? Perhaps one more aligned with Bernie and the Squad.

If none of these districts are in the “toss up” column or through district realignment, give a Republican a chance, nothing changes.

As for Pelosi’s majority crumbling, noting happens with that until January ‘23. We still have 13 months to go with the current crop of thieves, on both sides.

“23 Democrats who won’t seek reelection in the 2022 midterms”

I think there were 38 Republicans who didn’t seek reelection in 2016.

Moderate Dems that want to remain in Congress after the 2022 Mid-Term elections are over, better switch political parties from Democrat to Republican, right now!!! Why??? Biden, Harris, Pelosi & Schumer are toast, finished, useless and dead in the water!!!

Woo hoo! We can now look forward to two years of gridlock followed either by more gridlock or a further slide to the left.

It would be tragic if we ever moved back up toward the right.

Fun fact: There are no “Moderate Democrats” in Congress. The last actual moderate was defeated in November 2020 (Collin Peterson of MN). The most “Conservative” members are at least 88-90% leftist, with the lone exception of Manchin, and he’s about 80% leftist. The “Moderate” Marxists are far closer to the “Progressive” Stalinists/Maoists/Pol Potists, only they know that to get to their Stalinazi dystopia, they need to go the speed limit and not floor it.

He may be waiting to see how the midterms fall out.

Of course , the democrats need to get the election fraud machine oiled up again, which I have no doubt is already in the works.
