As I am reading more about the story it seems this was at least partly consensual and perhaps fully consensual on the part of the girl. Law enforcement is still investigating but they say she had some lurid and graphic text exchanges with the accused and he essentially promised to do to her what he did do and she quite possibly entered into the arrangement willingly.
What’s in question here is that she’s of diminished mental capacity so her ability to fully consent to the arrangement may end up in the accused facing at least some charges.

No, just that I haven’t seen a coal chute or a coal fired furnace since I was a little kid in Massachusetts. And the coal furnace I saw had been abandoned in place for an oil fired furnace.

For years I augmented my propane, warm air furnace with a wood/coal burner plumbed into my ductwork. Had to give up on that a couple of years ago. Too old and crippled to be dealing with that anymore.

Some women are so damaged from our culture telling them to be assertive and masculine that they’re seeking someone to dominate them. What they really need is a strong and loving husband and not someone to punish them for wanting to be women, wives, and mothers.
