Dozens of students at the University of Florida said the U.S. Constitution should be abolished and even signed a petition to do away with it.
"It should be abolished," one student told Campus Reform in a man on the street-style interview published Thursday. "It’s time for a new Constitution."
"The time period was rich old white men and that's exactly what that document says, and stands for and vouches for," another student added when asked if the Constitution is a symbol of the patriarchy.

Next up: see how many of these idiots will sign a petition banning dihydrogen monoxide.
I’m curious if their parents ever see these interviews and what they think. I’m not a parent, so I don’t have that bond, obviously. But I’ve been very close in watching my nephews grow up. Taught them all sorts of things and did all sorts of things with them.
I wonder if any of them have family members that were in the military or are family that are just really patriotic folks, who love this country and everything it stands for.
Are they ever asked what country they think is better than the US? If so, when something goes sideways around the world, can they name the hospital ship from that country, that heads that way to help, free of charge? Can they name the military branch or unit that shows up to keep the place safe so help can be given?
Should have been the theme song for the TEA Party.
Not from the Bee?
Ditto Che Class of 1967. Ashamed of UF students. Used to be a place to work hard to get an eduction. And play hard.
These morons should be on a chain gang.
Whole lot of students at U. of Florida come from outside the state.
Let’s see, Rutgers in N.J. of Gainsville Florida?
Etc. Etc. Etc,
Kids that have been brainwashed by their infiltrated education system.
Only dozens? It must be better than I thought.
You CAN fix stupid real quick.
Lock down the school and arrest dozens of students
When their parents get outraged, arrest them.
Charge them all with insurrection.
Deny them any calls to parents, friends, or attorneys.
Give them one meal a day, and don’t provide any bathroom
facilities.
Let them stew in that for about a week.
Then when releasing them, provide a list of their
Constitutional rights that were just denied them based
on their demand to do away with the Constitution.
They’ll learn very quickly.
Those dozens of students should be expelled for failing the College Ignorance Test.
Dozens?
Give me a break. Was Madonna promising blow jobs?
These alarmists are grasping.
Half of UF students are there for two things: Tossing and catching around an oval shaped ball or putting an orange ball into a metal hoop 10 feet off the ground. They couldn’t get into MIT, so they went there!! 🤓
And how has that worked out?
About even. A lot of incumbents lose their seats and a lot retain them each election cycle.
The Framers’ Constitution went by the wayside with adoption of the 17th Amendment.
Its purpose was to democratize Congress. It worked. It is amazing that we’ve lasted this long.
I agree. I suppose that it took them to 2020 to get their ducks in a row. They got them finally. From now on, things will be downhill until they reach the bottom. Thanks for the response.
Actually there’s typically less than 10% turnover.
Then that's on the voters, not the Constitution.
I think it was either Walter Williams or Thomas Sowell a few years ago who pointed out that the incumbent gets all kinds of non-monetary "campaign financing" perks due to his position, so he tends to perpetuate his elected status on the taxpayer dime of those who want another representative. If we could deal with THAT - put the exact same restrictions on elected officials in campaigning actions - then that would level the playing field.
It burns me up that Obama - any sitting president - can openly and generously - spend government time campaigning for another candidate in the Senate or House. THAT should be illegal. Especially when preachers are forbidden to do so.
Hey kids, short hop to Cuba...
