A three-star U.S. Army lieutenant general caught some attention over the weekend when she referred to British troops as Americans.
In a now-deleted tweet on Saturday, Lt. Gen. Maria Gervais tweeted a photo of dozens of troops crammed together while sleeping in tight confines. “This picture is worth 1000 words—thanks to these American hero’s #Grateful.”
Gervais’ tweet quickly caught attention from social media commentators who soon noticed that the troops crammed together in the picture were not in fact Americans. Instead, the troops pictured were British.
Gervais deleted the erroneous tweet, but not before it was archived and the post garnered hundreds of comments and was liked and retweeted thousands of times on Twitter.

But she has a masters degree in Human Resources...and now is in a position to influence training at all Army schools and US Army Doctrine across the board...where she can do far greater damage than as a unit commander.
General Paul Funk II is her superior officer.

I have noticed something and am wondering if it makes a difference. Whenever I read about one of these “clown” Generals lately I go look at their bio. To a man (or woman in this case) they received their commission from somewhere other West Point. In fact most of the real weenies went to an “elite” school. For example, Milley has a BA in Politics from Princeton (which might explain a lot). This clown was commissioned via Lander College (South Carolina) ROTC. This has been true regarding several other clowns in the news lately. I wonder if that is one of the tricks the progs are taking to weaken America.
Everywhere is
Dikes and Fairies
Tell me where is sanity
Why do we have female generals?
General Socialist Justice Wacko, the militant homosexual woman every Airborne Infantryman dreams of working for.

She got her stars from a Cracker Jack box.
it’s all turned to...
A little “inside ball”, she’s never held command of Troops in the field, was a disaster running the STE program (and still got her 3rd star) and has a Masters Degree in HR. She’s now been moved up to lead TRADOC, (Training DOCtrine Command)knowing nothing about combat. What a disaster.
You’ve come a long way, Butchy.
She has a face like a ripped boot.
Peter Principle

What Is the Peter Principle?
The Peter Principle is an observation that the tendency in most organizational hierarchies, such as that of a corporation, is for every employee to rise in the hierarchy through promotion until they reach a level of respective incompetence. In other words, a front-office secretary who is quite good at her job may thus be promoted to executive assistant to the CEO for which she is not trained or prepared for—meaning that she would be more productive for the company (and likely herself) if she had not been promoted
No, far from it. TRADOC is very important because it defines and issues guidance to the combat units as to the basic tactics and strategy they employ in the field and in combat. One of many things disturbing about this story is a woman who has never been in combat and has never been in command of a combat unit is involved in developing their doctrine.
She may never have learned proper grammar, spelling and punctuation, but, by God, that gender studies ticket has paid off.
Gen Lickalottapuss. Her focus is on something else, obviously.
She’s Deputy Commanding General of Army Training and Doctrine Command, one of the more important three-star billets in the service. To be fair, she came out of the Chemical Corps—no mean feat, because that MOS is small, highly specialized and there’s not much opportunity to command outside the specialty. Apparently, she doesn’t recognize troops unless they’re wearing gas masks and full MOPP gear.
The general also came from an Army ROTC program at a very small college in South Carolina (Lander University). So, she’s either the sharpest tool in the history of that program (and the Chemical Corps), or another testament to diversity and affirmative action in the ranks.
She’s a clear diversity promotion.
Promoted for her love of tacos....
thanks for that good information. I do know that Obama inserted his operatives throughout the government including the military. I just don’t trust today’s leadership.
Can’t identify US troops and has difficulty with simple spelling and grammar.
But, since she’s a chick, she’s qualified to be a flag officer. A three star general.
Yikes.
No wonder the debacle at Kabul happened. The Army's senior leadership these days seems stocked with careerists, bureaucrats and suck-ups. I hate to think what might happen if they have to face a real army, like China, Russia or even Iran. All their diversity training and witch-hunts for "extremists" won't count for squat.
