Hello All -
It's with great regret that I inform this community that this site will be closing within 48 hours. I have been threatened with "Consumer Action in Superior Court" due to allowing people to freely debate COVID-19 in the WRP forum. Clearly, this site cannot operate the way it has for the last 20 years in the era of COVID-19. I'm not going to get into the details here, but I'm just a guy with a hobby horse site, and I can't afford to put my family at further risk because COVID Nazis want to force people to take their experimental treatments.
I'll give everybody a chance to collect their things and say their goodbyes. This is not how I wanted it to end. I never imagined we'd get to this place in society, but I cant afford the risk any longer.
I am targeting Wednesday morning at 12am PST to pull the plug.

The Orange Mane is an open forum primarily meant for Denver Broncos fans to discuss their team. The site also has a “WRP” Forum where users can discuss religion and politics instead of football. This has become a place for some liberals to do what liberals do - attempt to destroy anyone they disagree with.
I’m posting this here to show that objectors are now going to the courts to try to shut down websites that don’t toe the line on COVID information.
Forewarned is forearmed. The social media gestapo may soon arrive on JimRob’s doorstep.

Apparently this comes from the Consumer Superior Court which I presume is based in Colorado. Remember, these are the same people that gave that Christian baker a hundred levels of legal hell so reason and respect may not be part of their makeup.
Supposedly having a discussion about whether the COVID media are on the up and up is tantamount to Mata Hari in time of war. Can you imagine if Trump had ordered discussion boards to take only his side during the “Russian Collusion” crap? The same folks screaming today applauding censorship would respond as if it were orders from Hitler. But now that it is their team doing the censoring, they think this is noble.
I wonder if this site owner has received threats...how long before that happens?
We’ve seen this play before. The statist tyrants are now seeking absolute control like the totalitarian Marxists and Nazis of yesteryear. All dissent must be quashed. A Ministry of Truth established. No matter how illegal or unconstitutional, the ‘elected’ officials and the judges will go along with it, because, well, they have their livelihoods and their families to protect, too.
How quickly this is all unfolding since the 2020 coup.

I hate to see this. I just went through a similar thing. So I gave my forum site and domain to someone who was graciously willing to keep it open as logged in members only viewing.
This is where being open to the general public can be a legal detriment. It is coming to the point where if you don’t make it a private party everyone will lose it.
Private clubs are afforded legal protections that public viewable forums are not.
Or he could just ignore it and go on with the forum. The laws don’t apply anymore.

Yes, and it is just starting to get serious, it is going to get worse. There may come a point where you might want to consider making this viewable for logged in members only rather than have to make this same decision. A private organization is afforded many more legal protections than a public viewable site is.
I don’t see how ANY individual can make a threat like that. I’d be calling Institute for Justice or one of the other freedom groups & ask for a little legal advice. You can threaten right back at ‘em.
This doesn’t even warrant a FR posting, much less breaking news.
