At a recent gathering, a daughter’s friend told us, “I’m probably trans because I don’t like female puberty.” This instantly got my attention, because I have known this child for years, and I never saw any indication of her being trans. I innocently asked her why she would say that. Was it a joke, perhaps? She replied, “I don’t like my boobs growing, and Reddit says I’m probably trans.”
That night, I tracked down these Reddit exchanges, and my jaw dropped when I saw how many people and organizations were heavily pushing the possibility of her being trans. But perhaps I shouldn’t have been surprised, given the way such attitudes have gone mainstream. This includes the pediatrician mom whose recent opinion piece for the New York Times was titled What I Learned as the Parent of a Transgender Child. For kids Googling this subject, the overall effect is the equivalent of one big glitter bomb going off on their screen.
I write all this as a 47-year-old transgender man who transitioned five years ago. I’m also a parent to three teenagers. Though I admire the good intentions of parents who seek to support their children, I have serious concerns about reckless acquiescence to a child’s Internet-mediated self-diagnosis. Many older transgender folks share these concerns, too. In many cases, we are people who have been quietly going about our lives in society for years, anonymously sharing shops, offices, elevators, and sidewalks with everyone else, without making a big deal of our identity or proselytizing to others. We like it that way. But given the current climate, we now need to speak out.
That one comment by my daughter’s friend caused me to investigate the organizations that purport to advocate on behalf of the trans community.

There is nothing that makes moods worse than Lupron. Good moods come from hormones (and the gut bugs being healthy). It is child abuse to put kids on it to prevent puberty. I’ve been on it for fertility treatment and you want to kill your loved ones for breathing too loudly. It is not a good idea to put kids at puberty on such a drug.
Far better to help them enjoy their body and live how they wish. Lots of people have things wrong with their bodies, and if it’s not an easy fix, people learn to love their body anyway and be grateful for all it can do. Help these kids be happy. Let them live, dress, and love how they wish (platonically of course at that age)! Let them love themselves! It’s ok to feel like the other gender, just like it’s ok to have any number of conditions, and you belong in this world. Let’s focus on these confused kids regaining self love and self confidence. Let’s not mutilate them.
Mental illness is mental illness. Doesn’t matter what age you are.
Its pretty simple - perform a genetic test to see if the physical gender is the genetic gender. If it is, send the person to a psychiatrist, just like you would a person who came to you demanding that their healthy limb needed to be amputated. Something is wrong and its with the way their brain is working. Figure that out.
If you go along, as a physician you are responsible for the outcome. Prepare to be sued if and when the mutilated person changes their mind after the fact AND when they kill themselves over what they’ve irreversibly done to themselves.

Specifically, these medications are associated with an increased risk of heart attacks, pulmonary embolisms, bone damage, liver and kidney failure, mental-health complications, and more. Almost a quarter of hormone-therapy patients on high-dose anabolic steroids (such as the testosterone taken by female-to-male transitioners) exhibit major mood-syndrome symptoms. Between three and 12 percent go on to develop symptoms of psychosis."

LGBT people recruit kids on line like ISIS does to serve their purpose. Both kill the very soul of young people as God designed and intended them to be.

Even worse, trannies who do the cutadickfrome end up in a sexual lose-lose (even bruce jenner admitted this). If they get with guys they are a homo and trannies say they are not. And as women they feel no attraction to lesbians (other than the ones in Penthouse letters) and even then do not have the proper equipment for sexual gratification.
And it is a purgatory of their own making.
I refuse to call these hideous “procedures” anything other than Mengelization.

I applaud his honesty and willingness to speak up.
Despite my personal feelings on this issue, or any issue, people who are intellectually honest and have lived or experienced the issues they speak up about get my respect.
I believe in conversations based on morality but to truly convince the masses, you sometimes need more than that.
I look no further than Donald Trump, who has lived a life of vanity and vulgarity, but God has chosen him to speak out for a reason. He was the man we needed.
I see this person no differently. Or a woman who has had an abortion or worked in the abortion industry, to tell their stories and hopefully help save someone else.

Well, they are only qualified to work on actual human anatomy, not some science experiment a mad doctor stitched up in his laboratory.
The same people that think a parent NEVER has a right to decide whether their child should be allowed to get an abortion also think that a parent ALWAYS has a right to decide whether their child’s genitals should be mutilated and whether they should be chemically or surgically sterilized.
