dwellers shocked by the Black Lives Matter protest violence raging in some cities, President Trump’s approval rating has hit a new high, according to a survey heavy with minority voters.
The latest Zogby Analytics poll just shared with Secrets had Trump’s approval at 52%. “The president has recorded his best job approval rating on record,” said pollster Jonathan Zogby.
What’s more, his approval rating among minorities was solid and, in the case of African Americans, shockingly high. Zogby said 36% of blacks approve of the president, as do 37% of Hispanics and 35% of Asians.
Approval among independent voters is also up, to 44%. And “intriguingly,” said Zogby, 23% of Democrats approve of Trump.

If ALL blacks, I agree with you. If black likely voters I might believe that the poll is close. Likely voters often are civic minded and pay attention.
Looks like the karenocracy is not very popular after all.

I expect Trump will win but he isn’t going to win the popular vote. Democrats will run up the score in the blue states and their GOTV/ballot harvesting efforts in swing states will add to that.
If Trump gets 35% of the black vote, we’re looking at 400 EVs.

Of course, the report doesn’t say they will actually vote for Trump, just that they approve of his job performance.
However if Zogby is correct about this, and the job approval turns into Trump votes, Biden will be buried.

do you think that really matters to most dems? all they care about is hating Trump. it’s a sad day in America that almost the majority of Americans cannot appreciate a man, a president, who puts America first, and support those others who only care about burning, looting and murder. what a shame and how incredibly stupid.
So explain why more blacks approve Trump than asians? Is this the feminity of this group not liking his style?

Another member of the “manage the decline” corporate GOP. Completely out of touch with today’s reality on the ground. They couldn’t give a damn about the base of the party or working people in general.

I think either George McGovern or Walter Mondale could run circles around Joe Biden and look how their challenges to an incumbent president turned out.
Bob Dole was ten times the candidate Joe Biden is, and they had no chance against Bill Clinton. Kerry vs. Bush, Romney vs. Obama - all far more impressive challengers than Joe Biden.
It’s not easy unseating an incumbent President. Only twice in modern history has it been done, and there were special circumstances.
Reagan vs. Carter wasn’t even a fair fight... does anyone seriously think Joe Biden is the Democrat’s secret weapon - their Ronald Reagan?
Bush lost to Clinton only because Ross Perot took 20% of the pro business Republican vote. And two days before the election, they indicted Defense Secretary Casper Weinberger on bogus charges - at the time, one of the most shameless political hit jobs since Watergate.
