Attorney General William Barr told ABC News in an interview aired Thursday that President Trump had never asked him to do anything in a criminal case but advised the president to stop tweeting about the Justice Department, saying it makes it impossible for me to do my job.
The remarks are a significant and rare public break by the attorney general from the president, following days of controversy surrounding the Justice Departments decision to lessen a sentence for Trump ally Roger Stone after the president tweeted about his displeasure with the gravity of the original sentence recommendation.
I think its time to stop the tweeting about Department of Justice criminal cases, Barr told ABC in the interview.

They said Honey badger don't care...
What is his job?
And does anyone anywhere actually trust anyone in the justice department anymore?
CIA?
FBI?

"Hes right and it creates (real or staged) separation between Barr and Trump that muffles the leftist whining."
Nothing ever muffles the leftist's whining, or the whiners on FR. You're having a pipe dream.

Why? DOJ is an Executive branch department.
Should Trump shut the $^^_$$ up about HUD, etc.?

I thought Matthew Whitaker did an outstanding job as acting A/G between Sessions and Barr.
So much so, that HE should have been selected.

Barr complains that Trump has not told him wants to do regarding the court cases. Why does Barr need to be told what to do? There is a major conspiracy to overthrow the elected leadership of this country and its partially led from his own DOJ. Yet, we see no meaningful action and the participants continue with their actions and agendas. Time for heads to roll!
P.S. Whoever arranged the Stone raid should be in jail by now! This is about as third-world as you can get.

Fair enough, but supporting PT to the hilt is not being a cultist. He is basically trying to clean the swamp all alone, it's insulting to call people who are supporting him cultists.

"Hes right. Trump should lay off the tweets about court cases"
And who do you think is going to report any of it if he does?

I think he has to say that, to make folks think he is actually Justice minded.
DOJ, FBI, BATF, CIA, DOS all need to be downsized and revamped to fit the president’s agenda... the DOJ does NOT work for the congress, for the court systems... but for the Executive.
These cabinet and department heads seem to not know that... and neither do the American people taken as a whole.
It’s time for a civics class. Lack of knowledge regarding United States Civics can trigger unnecessary Civil Unrest and conflicts.

"Not a Barr type sniveling about his bosss tweets."
He sounds like a pathetic little dweeb. "Mommy, I can't get my homework done because Donald is playing on his drum."

Then Barr do your damn job and indict? Stalling by you and Durham hurts Trump and what did you expect Trump to do? Maybe it is time you and Durham grow up and start indicting.

He is basically trying to clean the swamp all aloneSupporting him in that doesn't require claiming that he never makes a single mistake; you just admitted a Trump mistake a few posts ago. I call someone a cultist when they attack me for saying Trump made a mistake - and I stand by that, as it's textbook cultist behavior.

mcconnell would never have allowed it. Trump has been crippled by mcconnell's control over his cabinet. When a dem is president, he/she is entitled to a cabinet of choice. When an outsider is POTUS, the gopE thinks they must choose the cabinet for em. mcconnell hates Trump and wants to destroy him the same way mcconnel destroyed the Tea Party. All the while apperaring to keep his hands clean.

If I were President Trump, about the only people I'd trust would be my immediate family, and even then, I'd tread lightly.

The problem is the media manipulation of everything the President tweets.
