In a rush to judgement, flanked by US Flags and dressed in Red, White, and Blue, Nancy Pelosi ordered the Chairman of the Judiciary Committee to draft Articles of Impeachment against President Trump, after only one hearing of non-fact witnesses, claiming the facts were not in contest.
ABC News at the Top of the hour was breathless in their glee that the actions rise to the level of impeachment. This is hideous kabuki theatre.

Repub Senators work? Surely you jest. Most of them are swamp dwellers who want Trump out as much as Dems do. They will weigh the risk of his ouster due to their ( perhaps purposeful) poor defense of POTUS vs the exposure of their corrupt but legal gravy trains continuing. I have no faith of these RINOs.

Nancy may be a fool, but she’s not dumb. She knew the country had no stomach for this (and they had no case), but heavy, heavy pressure from The Wacky Pack finally pushed her over the edge. When it’s all done, Trump is still in office, AND he wins re-election, it’ll be interesting to watch where the wrath of leftists falls. Someone will have to be the scapegoat. Will they rage against Shifty? Maybe Nadler? “Centrist” Dims?

Exactly correct. The GOP Senate will be no more supportive of POTUS than they have been the past 3 years. They’ll do the absolute minimum required to prevent Trump voters supporting a 3rd party and that is all.
Your forgetting Biden will be a witness in the trial.

Exactly, I hope they spend one day on each of the items that the previous administration and the current Democrats have done. We need to go into complete details of every crooked thing that the Libs have done to beat and block Trump! We need to know who are the profiteers of the Government money flow!

That’s a GOP Senate talking point for excusing their do- nothingness. “The Dems really don’t want this so it’s not going to happen”. Blah, blah, blah. The Senate Dems will get unlimited campaign ads from Fake News. I doubt they’re all that concerned about leaving the campaign trail for a bit.

That is why they will never vote on impeachment. Once they vote, they lose control of the daily narrative. Instead, what Pelosi is going to do is have continuous “impeachment inquiry” hearings to create public perception that Trump committed impeachable offenses.

The GOP hasn’t done that yet. They’ve had 3 years. I see no evidence that will change in the last months of the first term of the Trump admin.
Justice would be her execution on Capital Mall, by hanging. For treason.
If we had a Jeb for POTUS, he would be cowering at the prospect of being branded ‘impeached’. Trump will take it as a badge of honor in the war against the swamp.
