Had to do a (quick) switch from Fox to CNN, and couldn’t believe how LeMoan and Gnash looked like they’d just shared a cup of bitter gall!

CNN’s headline: Republican Dan Bishop will narrowly win North Carolina’s 9th District special election
Should be:
President Trump wins a big one in NC!
If Trump would win this district by just 3 points, he would lose the state by about 5.
There is work to be done.

It doesn’t for a moment.
But this is a special election, not a presidential election. Turnout is MUCH lower and the margins are often slimmer for these types of elections.
You and me both. Keep waiting to see all precincts reporting. Some precinct person somewhere is toying with us.
But, yes, this has turned out to be a very blessed night!

Take a deep breath and listen. Forget 2016, In 2018 the R won by just 905 votes. Bishop and Trump stretched that out to around 4500. THAT IS THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE VOTRE TODAY.
Same here, although I had to admit it. I have to say that they (as usual) were providing far more updates on this race than FNC has been all night.
LeMoan and Gnash.... LOL! LeMoan in particular had the *biggest* frown on his face. Made my night, too! :-D

This victory in a close district was a _big_ deal—and the trends in these kinds of off year elections are excellent predictors of presidential races—since this reflects actual votes rather than fishy polls.
You can be sure that the political types on the lefty news networks fully understand this (even though they won’t admit in on air).
Exactly right! The DEMS pulled out all the stops to win this and they still lost even with a “moderate” candidate.
Thank you again President Trump for laying out the case against a Pelosi puppet like the Dem would have been in last night’s rally.
I hope Dan Bishop will be a great Congressman...and he owes his win to President Trump! And his great supporters in NC!

EXACTLY the way CNN was forced to call it for Trump in 2016 ... CNN was going on and on and on and not calling Pennsylvania, and then Trump went on stage to give his victory speech anyway, and then CNN suddenly called Pennsylvania for Trump ....

That, coupled with Ted Kennedy’s coup on immigration which has flooded the country with illegals with the majority voting for the Rats who promise them the moon, does not bode well for this country not going full blown socialist in the next few years.
