Don’t you know that CNN just today called Trump’s approval rating as falling six points and that over 60 percent of Americans don’t want him reelected? Obviously, he hurt rather than helping Bishop. The bible of CNN and its crew of crackpot commentators told us so.

To use a baseball term, you need a "bench" in politics, i.e., people coming up the ranks to bigger and better things in the Political Show. The Republicans cleaned out the Democrats' bench in 2010 and 2014. Now the Democrats are dipping down into their single-A minor league farm clubs to come up with presidential candidates.
This explains the gay mayor of a small city in Indiana, the failed senatorial candidate from Texas, the senile former vice president, the fake Indian, the failed mayor of the nation's largest city, and the California senator-of-color who takes pride in imprisoning her own people. The Democrats are scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Sweetie, the R won this district tonight by a MUCH GREATER margin than the last time. And it is in a district that’s pretty well split between R and D.

I still mourn the loss of states like Virginia, Colorado and Nevada. I believe all 3 were Red States not that long ago. And New Hampshire is NOT a Red State, contrary to some popular opinion.
It IS damn scary what's been happening the past few elections. Some FReepers think even Texas may turn Blue in the not-too-distant future. God help us when that happens...

Don’t forget the 24 point margin in NC-03, an area that was just devastated by a hurricane, and one that has a PVI of only R+12.
That’s a 12 point overperformance above the PVI for that district.
