State Attorneys General to Launch Big Tech Antitrust Investigation Monday
Breitbart ^ | 8 Sep 2019 | Sean Moran

State attorneys general will launch one of the largest bipartisan, multi-state antitrust investigations into Facebook and Google on Monday. State attorneys general spanning across dozens of states will announce an antitrust investigation into Google and Facebook, and other technology companies at the Supreme Court at 2:00 p.m. ET Monday.

The investigation will investigate whether America’s largest technology companies have stifled competition, restricted access, and harmed consumers.

A Wall Street Journal report suggested that New York Attorney General Letitia James will lead the investigation into Facebook, while Texas Attorney General Attorneys Ken Paxton will lead the investigation into Google.

James said in a statement to the Wall Street Journal:

I am proud to be leading a bipartisan coalition of attorneys general in investigating whether Facebook has stifled competition and put users at risk. We will use every investigative tool at our disposal to determine whether Facebook’s actions may have endangered consumer data, reduced the quality of consumers’ choices, or increased the price of advertising.

Several state attorneys general also plan to announce their Google antitrust probe next Monday, with approximately three dozen state attorneys general. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton will reportedly lead the Google investigation, which will focus on Google’s advertising markets and whether Google’s dominance in the ad markets harms competition.

The Journal‘s report follows an exclusive Breitbart News interview with Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry, who said that many state attorneys generals have “had enough” of big tech, and they will “take action” after significant investigation.

Unless and until big tech social media companies are brought in line, I’m afraid President Trump may not make reelection. I know that Biden or Bernie or any other idiot pales in comparison to President Trump. But we must not, we cannot underestimate the power of Facebook and Google and their ability to steal an election.

I will.

I will underestimate them drastically.

First the msm was going to be impossible to overcome.

Then illegals voting was.

Then the dead voting were.

Then double voting was.

Then unregistered folks voting were.

I submit that in fact MANY stories that MOST would never see that help us are found on twitter.

I still want them broken up.

But those “numbers” of how many will change their votes based on google and twitter and facebook I put right up there with global climate change numbers.

But that’s just me

And we all know I’ve been wrong plenty of times :)

I STILL worry more about illegals and the dead and unregistered voting.

I have to agree. It seems like a stretch that a social media company could substantively influence the outcome of an election, but the reality is they’ve stacked search results that block finding real information that was readily available just a few years ago.

I just had an exchange with a poster that was trying to search the internet using Google for information that corroborated positive information I had found years ago about Donald Trump’s upbringing. Years ago, specifically 2015, I found good information easily. But this past week there was a notable struggle to get past page after page of negative unrelated results about Donald Trump. It was obvious Google had written algorithms to place a thicket of negative clutter about Donald Trump, clutter that was not seen in the past

Why would you deliberately advocate doing that?

Underestimating the deep state’s most powerful mechanism to steal elections?

Google has become useless as a source of truth search engine.

Atty. Gen. Letitia James is bad news. I have read about her.
She has virtually taken a solemn vow to dig deep enough into the Trump financial records to find SOMETHING. SOMETHING that can be used to either impeach the president, or become such a drain of his time, energy, finances, reputation and emotions, that Mr. Trump simple resigns to get away from the slow drip torture of exposure and prosecution.

This “Lady” is serious, and I hope Mr. Trump’s legal team is ready for her and her team.
Letitia wants to impress Michelle Obama and other BLM types.

It sounds like they will not be investigating censorship or in_kind political contributions....

Those two areas alone are justification for massive trust-busting.

With NY investigating FaceBook they’ll get off scot free with the investigators agreeing to huge payouts to FaceBook.

Texas investigating Google will be a tossup depending on how large the campaign donations are.

Robert Epstein, Zach Vorhies. You might have heard of them. If not, it’s time to wake up or you work for Google.

I think Google is evil.

But don't you think Trump's election may have something to do with the change?
