Ill admit it. I voted for him and supported him. I said then and still say, there were no encroachments on the 2nd Amendment. He professed to being Christian. But he let them savage him without saying a thing. Big mistake.

I did. It seemed like a non-sequitur to me which is why I asked.

A Bush Daughter is sticking her nose into the Trump buzz saw by defending Baltimore and by implying / claiming "Orange Man Rayciss."

Her saying something will help President Trump. President Trump calling out leadership of a corrupt city is what the poor folks of Baltimore need. Has Jenna invited her Baltimore students to move in with her? Is she sending her children to day care and/or school in Baltimore public schools?

Don’t get me wrong, I am a fan of this...the sacntimonious tone on her part is indeed waiting for Trump’s thumb to hit the key of the circular saw. “Let’s think about the language” indeed.
I despise sanctimony, and the “Let’s think” statement is chock full of it.

Ill admit to it. Dont remember ever having an exchange with you in particular. Dont recall blasting a critic of Bush on here but I suppose I would have. Probably in my old comments somewhere.
You have to remember, eight years of Obama while the GOP laid down will open some eyes.

Funny, now you cant find anybody who will admit to ever being an admirer of the guy. *raises hand*
I admit I was a sucker. Most of us were. Now that I'm red pilled, I realize that it's not only Democrats that are derp staters. And the Bush family is Derp State royalty.

... called the Democrat's Baltimore-based district a "disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess."
I other words, President Trump used the proper words and exact English to describe a fact.
During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act. If even the President can't speak the truth without inciting an all out media assault - and nobody in the media is challenging the President on the basic facts of his statement - then who are the tyrants controlling the media and puppet pols?
The deep state still needs to be destroyed.

So it is not about political corruption and mismanagement for decades in Baltimore that led to a hellhole of a city, it’s about Trump’s supposed racism instead?
That city cannot even teach kids to read, and that’s Trump’s fault. Or did he mention something that is not mentioned in polite Democratic company.
Baltimore is a hellhole, and the Dems don’t give a damn because they have those votes anyway.

Trump can be the King of Politeness and the media will still twist his words into something racist - just as they did to Jennas father. If anything, I think Trump is too restrained with jackasses like Cummings. True... But I'd still like to see Trump add a "people", or sort of "quasi-populist" angle. That is, rather than attacking the entire district (easy to twist into an attack on its people), be clearly supportive and sympathetic to its people, as in: "This jackass has been taking advantage of good people in his district for twenty years, and for their trust in him they get rats and filth."

I supported W - I've been on FR since 2001 and you can trace my posts.
My tag-line for all of 2003-2004 was W2K4
here's my opinion of him in hindsight:
- He was the right choice for President in 2000 and in 2004 -- the alternatives were miserable
- He reacted well to 9/11 - the reason it happened was not his fault, but the fault likes with Bush senior and with Clinton
- Bush senior went into a needless war with Iraq - if we hadn't done that, there would be no Al Qaead, ISIS, Iran threat, 9/11 etc. etc
- Bush senior and Clinton spent the 90s humiliating Russia instead of turning it into an ally - yes that was possible
- I fully, 100% supported and support what Dubya did in Afghanistan - that cleared out the Taliban and was overall a good thing
- I fully was against the 2003 invasion of Iraq - I publicly said that on FR and still stand by it that it was a mistake. It was pushed by Gulf War 1, but was still a mistake
- Economically I feel he did good
So overall I supported Dubya but not on Iraq - on every other point I did. And I think that he was a good President - the gulf War 2 removed him from being among the best, but he was still a good President.

Right. He should use her daddy’s language which is to say nothing. She forgets they ran ads linking W to the Jasper truck dragging, they called him a Nazi, a racist, a liar, they hung him in effigy. At least Trump fights back unlike her wimpy father.
To: jersey117
Let me add, they called him a drunk, lied about him being AWOL, they even called her mama a murderer.
