Former Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore leads the field of potential Republicans vying for the chance to challenge Sen. Doug Jones (D), a year and a half after Moore lost what was supposed to be an easy election in a deep-red state.
A new poll shows Moore leading a still-evolving field of Alabama Republicans competing for the nomination. He is the top choice of 27 percent of Alabama Republican voters, according to the Mason-Dixon Polling & Strategy Inc. survey.
The states three Republican members of Congress finish well behind Moore: Rep. Mo Brooks would take 18 percent, Rep. Bradley Byrne clocks in at 13 percent and Rep. Gary Palmer would take 11 percent.

Aw, Jeez, not this...
Roy Moore.
Making Alabama safe for Democrats.
I’m sure a lot of those “Republicans” are Democrats. Of course they want Roy to get the nomination.
He could have a better chance to ride President Trump’s coattails once the latter is re-elected.
Why cant he ride into the sunset
Don’t get worried, cooler heads will prevail.
Good ####ing Grief.
I’m from NY. We’re gone. It is what it is.
But you guys in Alabama can’t do this to us again!!
You all still like Sessions? I know he sucked as AG but if he can win he seat back...
If there was a Special Olympics version of the Senate, Roy Moore would be fully qualified.
How Mo Brooks doesn’t do better, is beyond me.
But, with these results, I guess it’s time for Tommy Tubberville to announce. And more importantly, for the Tide Faithful and War Damn Eagles to put aside their differences for one day and let Tubberville beat the snot out of Jones.
They can fight in the parking lot, after they cast their votes.
Lets hope there’s no Army/Navy games to attend!
That poll is fatal to Moore. Alabama has runoff requirements. The top two candidates would go to a runoff in that scenario. Moore is only pulling in 27%. If it were him and Mo Brooks in a runoff, the rest of the vote would consolidate behind Brooks. He’d like win a head to head with more than 60% of the vote.
Seriously? I was hoping AL would send Jones packing. I really hoping we would get that seat. Not if Moore wins.
Same way Flimsey Grahamnesty gets nominated again and again despite his betrayal of the citizens.
Apparently nothing will stop Democrats from crossing over to vote for Moore and ensure his nomination. The only rules in effect seem to prohibit participating in a Republican RUN-OFF after a voters has voted in a Democratic primary:

As it stands now, we are in very serious danger of having Moore be the nominee again- hopefully this poll has alarm bells ringing in Alabama GOP headquarters.
And watch the media manipulate this.
Hopefully 27 percent represents a ceiling for this creepy clown. There’s no reason AL should re-elect a Democrat senator.
Guaranteed non-establishment candidate. Will raise hell.
YEP!..............................
You had your chance and blew it and you are extremely old. Let someone else run.
