Reminds me of something my son said when he was very young. I was watching an NHL playoff game and my son asked, “Who’s playing, Dad?” I said “The Toronto Maple Leafs and (some other team).” He asked, “Do you want the ‘make believes’ to win?” I got a good laugh out of it, but it’s not that funny anymore...

Speechcrime often is a symptom of thoughtcrime. They must investigate this to find the culprit so that the culprit can be mercifully cured, keeping us all safe.
Something else from that game to investigate . . . the Maple Leafs studio hosts. During the 2nd period intermission they were discussing why Toronto was playing so badly after their previous game on the road at Edmonton on Saturday night and they tried to use the excuse that the Leafs had NOT FLOWN HOME late on Saturday instead of doing so on Sunday morning!!!

Its not homophobia ,no one is scared of them, its using the gay lifestyle as slur. Which depending on your upbringing may be offensive to you.
The NHL that featured fewer helmets and more fights and hip checks was the more polite NHL.
