(Washington, D.C.) – U.S. Senator Patty Murray (D-WA), a senior member of the Senate Veterans’ Affairs Committee, issued the following statement in response to today’s Supreme Court decision allowing President Trump’s order banning transgender individuals from military service to take effect.

Seriously. It is a meaningless, completely pliable term.
The order actually applies to “medically dependent” transgender.
Part of the process is lots and lots of shots on a regular basis. People who have to take lots and lots of shots cannot serve in the military.
It’s no different than a diabetic or anyone else.
“Senator Murray: ‘I am deeply disappointed in today’s decision, and urge Acting Secretary Shanahan and the Department of Defense not to move forward with this misguided discriminatory ban that would create further uncertainty for our troops and degrade our national security’”
The court has spoken. Shouldn’t she be thrown into jail, like Kim Davis was?
Transgendered people can’t really maintain the look and feel of being the other sex without hormones. They are taking drugs on an ongoing basis to sustain their adopted persona. The same military that has not accepted people with flat feet can surely decline people who need ongoing hormones. The consequences of running out of your meds out in the boonies somewhere are scary: Charlie’s voice rises; his muscle mass declines; he starts to get moody; his period re-starts. Charlie is no longer the same guy you deployed with. That’s not good for winning wars.

Rather, it was forced on him by longtime Georgia Dem Senator Sam Nunn.
Though Clinton promised throughout the '92 campaign to focus like a laser beam on the economy, the very first thing he did out of the gate was to announce that homosexuals could serve in the military completely openly.
Sam Nunn, the head of the Senate Armed Services Committee said, Whoa! Not so fast. It was he who forced onto Bubba the Don't Ask Don't Tell policy.

Obama put women in combat, let queers openly serve, then let drag queens openly serve through a direct order to his Sec of Defense. Congress was bypassed and the call was made by the Kenyan king. None of these executive power grabs ever made it to the Supreme Court. Trump tries to get the military back in order by telling his Sec of Defense to get rid of the drag queens and all hells breaks loose. His Sec of Defense basically ignores his order and punts the ball while it’s “challenged” in court. When King Obama did the same thing no republican appointed judge said a word.
Because Bush League Republicans share the same goals.
That is why the GOP refused to sue to stop DACA before it could get started.
They wanted amnesty, too.
Any way they could get it.
Obama was never eligible.
Both parties cooperated to violate the Constitution.
There are 3 genders, male, female and 392 types of queer.
Transgender is one of the 392 types of queer.
And honestly, its simply someone with a mental disorder that has not been properly diagnosed or properly treated if it has.
