One of the problems is there are gaping, glaring loopholes in regulating stretch limousines. And, for sure, for every inch a limousine stretches they get considerably more dangerous, the Democratic Senate minority leader said during a news conference in his Manhattan office. Just another shake down of an industry by the Dems. Once those cards and letters (full of campaign donations), the Dems will change the direction of legislative course. That is until the next cycle.
Why is a Senator discussing this? Regulation of custom automobiles is a state matter.

“Dreaming up new ways to tax citizens for the privilege of having their guns taken away. “
That’s easy. A gun and ammo disposal fee. Three hundred dollars per firearm and twenty five cents per round of ammo. Of course they can get creative and combine these fees or just tier pricing. And I get to say thank you for taking my guns and ammo away. For 50,000 gun owners that’s a haul of a cool billion.
Years ago I took a Cab ride in NYC.
We had two near misses, one because of another Cab and one because my Driver decided that the Yellow Light means go faster.
It was an interesting experience.
... and (3) suspicious circumstances that would encourage any honest investigator to investigate the possibility that this was deliberate/sabotage.
