The Senate Judiciary Committee is postponing a high-stakes hearing set for early next week on the sexual assault allegation against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
The committee announced on Friday that the Monday hearing — where both Kavanaugh and his accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, had been invited to speak — was being called off.
Instead, Grassley said in a statement Friday that he is giving Ford’s lawyers until 10 p.m. on Friday to respond to the GOP request for her to testify on Wednesday. If they do not, or if Ford declines to testify, Grassley said the Judiciary Committee will vote Monday on Kavanaugh's nomination.

1. Accuser makes an allegation and "demands to be heard."
2. Alleged attacked says: "OK -- I'm ready to testify in my defense at any time, and anywhere."
3. Accuser and her legal team and political handlers spend days demanding conditions for her testimony, and then making up excuses not to be there.
This clown fest is over. That's too bad, too -- because I was just starting to enjoy it.
GOP often sounds like the guy saying:

Pull the trigger, GOP! The Dems will never pat you on the head , say Good Boy, and give you a delicious dog biscuit.
They will always call you a white racist sexist rapist enabler who let a sex criminal join Thomas the one with a sex offence rumor hanging over his head, on the Court. No matter what you do to placate the Dems or feminists.
Maybe ford can pick one up for him on her drive across the country.

As I read it, she accepts their counteroffer by 10:00pm tonight or it’s over and the committee votes.
What is missing in this discussion is an honest debate about the Statute of Limitations.
No country and no economy can function normally if every person and every organization is vulnerable to the perpetual threat of accusations or litigation.
Yeah but the counteroffer is for Wednesday, that is basically giving in(Since she said originally Thursday) it should be Monday or NOTHING
I still think she will not testify no matter what they offer, and that is because her story is thinner than a one-layer bathroom tissue.
They didn’t “scrap” it all. The delayed it once again and now she’ll rsvp and NOT show up.
My guess is that this chick IS on meds already.

... My guess is that the Democrat/Socialist endgame is probably to create an environment to force the Confirmation Vote without hearing any testimony from Ford .... Then afterwards Protest that her voice is being silenced by the Trump Cult of Demonic Anti American Evil White Misogynous Males.
