Four Arab countries are backing Donald Trumps plan for a settlement between Israel and the Palestinian Authority, according to an Israeli newspaper, and are willing to sideline the PAs President Mahmoud Abbas to see it done.
According to a report in Israel Hayom, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Jordan told Jared Kushner, the US presidents son-in-law and the man charged with solving the Israel-Palestine issue, and envoy Jason Greenblatt they were behind Washingtons so-called deal of the century.
Israel Hayom, a daily newspaper owned by billionaires Miriam and Sheldon Adelson, reported that it spoke to officials from the four Arab countries.
The officials are said to have told the paper that their countries have decided to back the US plan regardless of whether Abbas and the PA engage with it.
In the report, a top Egyptian official says the countries are unanimous in their position that were the US to go over Abbas head and attempt to implement the settlement plan, they would not be opposed to it.

I expect riots anyway. Its what they do on the left.
Great news! Amazing!
These developments are all because Trump changed the overall dynamic.
In the past, we offered the Palestinians a deal. They refused. So we made them a better offer.
Trump on the other hand, makes them an offer. They refuse. He tells them they just lost a few hundred million and the next offer is going to be much worse. And worse again if they refuse that one. And so on.
He is also respected by the other Arabs in the region. That’s crucial. Frickin’ soy idiot Obama showed up and bowed down to ‘em. Unbelievable.
Incredible winning in the works!
You have to accept the peace plan before you know what the peace plan entails.
Besides, the outcome is predetermined. All these names parties are in favor. The Palestinians reject it. So now what?
Ive got a couple of gallons of gas Id donate.

No I didnt. My problem with this GP article is that it says nothing. Literally, nothing. Not news, not even opinion. Just idiocy. The purpose is to get people to click o n the article to run up their clicks to increase ad income. That is a slimy dishonest trick. I am not blaming you. The subject is of interest but this article does nothing but play on peoples interest in the topic in order to make money.
The Lord works in mysterious ways!
Praise be to God!
I was only being partly facetious. One of the problems here is that Abbas is aligned with Saudi Arabia, Egypt etc on the question of Gaza. Abbas wants Israel to toughen its stance in Gaza, to put a real blockade and starve Hamas in Gaza because they are his political rivals. Egypt has been a lot more amendable to Saudi Arabia lately, probably due to cash but in this case Egypt has no love for the Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas anyway. But Israel doesn’t really want a blockade of Gaza it just wants to inspect what comes in and out for contraband.
So for starters any plan that tries to unite Gaza with the West Bank will be rejected by Abbas. But without knowing more details it is hard to guess why the other states are said to favor the deal. There was suggestion last year that the deal would include expanding the territory of Gaza into the Sinai by 99-year lease from Egypt for the land. This would allow for natural growth and alleviation of overcrowding, and a construction economic boom would follow (Trump and Kushner’s specialty). But I am not sure if that is part of this plan.
And there is reason why Trump stopped all aid to the Palestinians today. Will that suspension of aid be followed by similar moves from some the other donors to the PA? I doubt the EU will cease funds but they have their own problems right now and can’t get too entangled with the Palestinian side. If Saudi Arabia and its allies go with Trump to deny aid to the PA, then this leaves Iran and its allies to fund Hamas. That puts enormous pressure on Abbas.

...and are willing to sideline the PAs President Mahmoud Abbas to see it done.
Since Abbas is no longer in office, as his single term expired long ago, that's a good choice. Our "allies" in the EU? They'll be told that their views on this are of no importance, unless they want to support the plan. Thanks Pollard.

A two state solution. The palestinians can't really agree, but should anything remotely resembling todays governance, a terror group and a President in the 12th or 14th year of his 4 year term, what they agree to won't really be binding. Any future governing body can disclaim it. That said, an Abbas replacement could probably get a capital in Jerusalem (there really isn't an East and West). "Settlements", who knows the opposition to their remaining. If the news is to believed, the large Arab states are OK with whatever the plan is. Same with right of return. Though does Jordan really want to grant citizenship to their citizens. And who knows, Kushner and associates may surprise us. What's really needed if the objective is a third state in the Mandate, second Arab, is an interim agreement with an interem government/governing body for a decade or two. And someone has to clear the terrorists out of the West Bank and destroy Hamas in Gaza. I didn't raise the issue of Israel being on board, since I presume that they've been consulted. Which doesn't mean they accept the plan. Particularly with no reliable partner on the other side. But is is entertaining to see the headline, Saudis, Egypt, Jordan, UAE support... Seem to have left the most relevant parties out.
I don’t want any part of this if it includes a “Palescumian state”. These are the unwanted flotsam and jetsam trash no other Arab nation wanted. Why should Israel have the horrible burden of a rabid dog right on their doorstep? By their previous dishonest and fanatical behavior, the Palescumians have proven over and over again, beyond any shadow of any doubt, that they are not responsible peace partners and therefore should NOT be rewarded with anything, except maybe transport to the Antarctic Circle.
Hamas and Abbas will both reject any plan, for their own internal reasons. Israel is free to accept the plan knowing it has no partner on the other side to implement it. You are right they need an interim step but that interim step is less about land area and more about social order. They have so much more to gain from being peaceful neighbors. The status quo has diabolically robbed another generation of opportunity.
They are, and likely will as they did in 1948. But at the core it's a two party disagreement. Israel's enemies today being greatly reduced from the entire Arab world in the past. No resolution possible without a viable governing body on the other side, but as a plan, could be promising. But peace, that will take longer than the time left to the Trump administration. If, unlike the advocates of Oslo, things like incitement were addressed by the guides of this process, who knows. Netanyahu has always been an advocate of economic development of peace reached with the emergence of an economically successful neighbor. President Trump would be sympathetic, and I'll speculate the plan will have a strong economic component, at least initially with the West Bank. To which they probably won't agree, or an Abbas successor will kicking and screaming. Then there's Gaza, with will require an intervention, of the military variety. The price of militarily destroying Hamas will be high.
Let them burn. Let the RATs burn their own nests.
I would think less of Pres. Trump if he accepted it.
The Noble committee isn't worthy enough to
shine Trump's shoes. He should not give them any
attention, respect or consideration.
Let them offer the "Peace Prize" to Hillary if she
keeps her mouth shut for the rest of the year and disappears.
