Police say three employees of a Cleveland Taco Bell opened fire on two armed robbers, killing one.
Police have said two masked robbers entered the restaurant early Wednesday and ordered three employees to lie on the floor. Police say three other employees pulled out handguns and opened fire, shooting one of the suspects six times. The other suspect ran off.
The Cuyahoga (ky-uh-HOH-guh) County Medical Examiners Office on Thursday said the man killed was 24-year-old DeCarlo Jackson.
Investigators say Jackson was found with a loaded gun in his hand. He was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.
No one has been arrested. The employees who opened fire are said to be two 19-year-old men and a 23-year-old man.
A Taco Bell spokeswoman told Cleveland.com the company is shocked by the shooting and is offering counseling to employees.

I saw the same interview, and was speechless.
I hate to make fun of the dead, but black humor is the only way I can deal with the loss of this aspiring rapper and budding artist who was turning his life around right after this one last victimless robbery.
I’ll bet the counseling will include terminating the 3 employees who saved their co-workers.
So explain it to me.
You are the second one who has told me got it wrong.
Yes, of course.
The key is to trust every word Big Media has excreted THIS TIME, because it sounds good and isn’t DIRECTLY related to politics.
Got it, thanks.
Instead of counselling I would be asking for an audiologist exam.
All that shooting indoors with no hearing protection I think I might have some inner ear damage.
At least six shots fired indoors in close proximity to the other shooters. Yep I think there might be some damage.
Not necessarily.
You shoot to stop the threat. If only one man is armed you shoot the armed man.
If the second man is not armed and he flees when the shooting starts there is no reason to shoot him.
One less thug walking the streets.
It’s hard to misinterpret that.
"...when the shooting starts there is no reason to shoot him."
Three of the five employees working were armed and used their weapons. It sounds like they made Swiss Cheese out of the perp.
My only concern is that two of the three were under the age of 21 and I do not know their state laws regarding if or how they can carry sidearms.
If he does not pose a deadly threat you better not shoot him.
You can take solace that when they catch him they will charge him with first degree murder for the death of his thug friend.
Personally, I would rather he go to jail for that than I go to jail for an unjustified shoot.
You could say that you thought he was armed because his partner was armed. You might get away with it but it is better not to take the chance if he is unarmed.
LOL, I never cease being amazed at how many HERE are quite content to believe everything Big Media tells us, as long as it’s not DIRECTLY related to politics.
After Obama took office my line of work dried up and I took a job as a night manager of a food/convenience store near my home to pay the bills. I was robbed by a man with a knife. The reality was I had no fear of the idiot and was going to disarm him and break his arms but the only thing I thought about was that company policy would have had me fired. By the time he left the parking lot he had two cops on his tail and they arrested him about five miles down the highway.
Since I always wore tactical pants at work the very next day I started carrying a compact 45 ACP in a DeSantis Nemisis holster in my right cargo pocket. Nobody ever knew it was there and I carried it until I left that job.
So, what do you think is the real story here?
Here in Virginia it is legal for anyone not a convicted felon to own a handgun between the ages of 18 and 21. You just can't buy one. It is also legal for that age group to carry sidearms as long as it is open carry. They may not conceal carry until the age of 21.
On my son's 18th birthday I gifted him four different handguns and also the proper holsters. When he turned 21 one of his birthday gifts was the money for the concealed carry class and the money for the CCW application. He also received another pistol too.
I and many other freepers don’t trust anything from Big Media.
Others on this thread have expressed their incredulity as well.
Big Media’s political “news” is generally easier to divine what’s really being said because we know their anti-American agenda.
Big Media and their god the Fraud politicized the WEATHER. Why should I believe or try to interpret ANY of their horseclinton?
So you’re recommending that we assume the second robber was unarmed?
If two masked men walk in together to rob a business and one of them brandishes a firearm, a reasonable person will not assume that his partner is unarmed... And that’s the standard. Would a reasonable person have believed that their life was in danger? Yes.
Would I rather be judged by twelve than carried by six? Yes.
