Police: Taco Bell Employees Fatally Shoot Armed Robber

Police say three employees of a Cleveland Taco Bell opened fire on two armed robbers, killing one.

Police have said two masked robbers entered the restaurant early Wednesday and ordered three employees to lie on the floor. Police say three other employees pulled out handguns and opened fire, shooting one of the suspects six times. The other suspect ran off.

The Cuyahoga (ky-uh-HOH’-guh) County Medical Examiner’s Office on Thursday said the man killed was 24-year-old De’Carlo Jackson.

Investigators say Jackson was found with a loaded gun in his hand. He was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.

No one has been arrested. The employees who opened fire are said to be two 19-year-old men and a 23-year-old man.

A Taco Bell spokeswoman told Cleveland.com the company is “shocked” by the shooting and is offering counseling to employees.

I'm pretty sure I got it right. I said

Why should any mother fear for her son’s life because he works in a store and is forced by the government to be unarmed?

Meaning: If I work in a state that forbids concealed carry, my mother would worry about me working in a liquor store because it is a magnet for armed robbery and I am defenseless.

The man in the picture is advocating for gun control so that the mothers of armed robbers don’t have to worry for the lives of their no-good sons.

Seems pretty straight forward to me. Where is the confusion?

My son works at a Chick-fil-A in a nice safe part of town. We unfortunately live in Maryland where the 2nd Amendment is basically ignored thus most of us have no right to carry.

His boss carries CCW making the store safer all around.

I agree. Based on voting results, there are about 12 CCW Republicans residing in the city and surrounding county of Cleveland. 3 of them are working in a Taco Bell, with all the 16 year olds?? You don't suppose the shooters were ringers?
