Police say three employees of a Cleveland Taco Bell opened fire on two armed robbers, killing one.
Police have said two masked robbers entered the restaurant early Wednesday and ordered three employees to lie on the floor. Police say three other employees pulled out handguns and opened fire, shooting one of the suspects six times. The other suspect ran off.
The Cuyahoga (ky-uh-HOH-guh) County Medical Examiners Office on Thursday said the man killed was 24-year-old DeCarlo Jackson.
Investigators say Jackson was found with a loaded gun in his hand. He was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.
No one has been arrested. The employees who opened fire are said to be two 19-year-old men and a 23-year-old man.
A Taco Bell spokeswoman told Cleveland.com the company is shocked by the shooting and is offering counseling to employees.

WHAT? I just re-read the story. Three employees drew down on the perps? Doesn’t sound like a part of Cleveland I want to cruise around in if the Taco Bell employees feel the need to CCW. YIKES! But, good for them.

Since the job has high turnover perhaps we should do a go fund me campaign for ex workers in the industry who do the jobs of their bosses/cops.

Police say three other employees pulled out handguns and opened fire, shooting one of the suspects six times. The other suspect ran off. I can only guess that only one of the robbers had a gun.
All of the defenders shot just the one with the weapon and allowed the other to escape.

If you're only going to carry in bad places.....maybe you shouldn't go to those places to begin with.

And why is that?
Why should any mother fear for her sons life because he works in a store and is forced by the government to be unarmed?

Something about this smells.
The dead guy was shot 6 times and managed to keep his grip on the gun, and it just seems a little unbelievable that THREE on-duty employees happened to be carrying and ready to open fire.
