Transgender: We’re ‘Medically Reliant’ Like Diabetic, Asthmatic; ‘Should Be Disqualified’ fm Miltary
CNS NEWS ^ | July 31, 2017 | Theresa Smith

"We should be disqualified at enlistment because we are medically reliant"

Reacting to President Trump’s announcement preventing transgender people in the military, Edie Dixon, a transgender man who identifies as a woman, told the Blaze on July 27 that he agrees with the president’s decision, saying that transgenders are “no better” than diabetics or asthmatics, and “should be disqualified” from the military.

According to the Blaze, Dixon is a Trump supporter and a resident of Oregon.

When the Blaze’s Allie Stuckey asked Dixon for his reaction to Trump’s announcement last week, Dixon replied, “I’m actually very satisfied. This is Trump showing that he is a president for equality, because this isn’t about transgender people, this is about transgender treatment.

“And if you look at the medical disqualifying guidelines of the military that they use, we are medically reliant, and therefore disqualifies us,” he continued.

“We are no better than diabetics. We are no better than asthmatics. We should be disqualified at enlistment because we are medically reliant,” stated Dixon.

“Wow, that’s an interesting perspective, and not one that we’re really hearing from other people of your community,” replied Stuckey. She asked, “So the big question is that I’m hearing asked is ‘can trump be a friend of the LGBT community and still enforce this ban?’”

“Of course,” said Dixon. “Trump has already proven to the LGBT community that he is an ally, especially with the religious executive order where he personally removed all -- any bill regarding the LGBT people, and especially his historic before his election when he was in Colorado when he announced his support for LGBT rights.”

“And this ban -- I still don’t look at it as anti-LGBT move, even with the executive order with the bathroom bill,” continued Dixon. “There has to be compromises, there has to be guidelines. We can’t be reckless with the transgender problem or the transgender issue with the bathroom problem.”

“We can’t be reckless, especially in our military,” he stated.

When Stuckey asked him if it is difficult to support Trump as a transgender person, Dixon replied that he has lost jobs and has been banned from bars and clubs because of his political belief.

Stuckey pointed out that the Left says it is for diversity, and Dixon replied that although the left used to be for freedom … it is now “hypocritical.” “They are not for tolerance anymore. They are not for free speech anymore.”

He also said that the LGBT movement has become “a liberal agenda movement.”

Stuckey asked as a final question, “Are you pleased with Trump’s presidency so far. Do you think he’s doing the things that you and your community want him to do?”

Dixon answered, “Oh, most definitely. Of course, like with any president, there are things you do disagree with. I am not a one-issue voter. I am not party-loyal. I am a devout constitutionalist, so I lean toward whoever is more constitution.”

“And I feel that Trump is doing a great job at protecting the United States and our people. And that should be the focus right now. That is where my point is."

“And that is the importance of politics in our country is not where I go to the bathroom. It’s are we letting in hundreds and thousands of refugees who are going to slaughter us?” stated Dixon. “That is where my mind is at, and I think that’s where Trump’s mind needs to be at.”

“We don’t need any more political correctness in this country,” he said. “We need truth, and we need safety, not political correctness. And giving people an extra privilege to go into the military just because of political correctness, to me, is a special right. That is not equal rights.”

I read about an even more disturbing delusional disorder a while ago, I'll see if I can find the link and post it later. Basically, you have able-bodied people who are convinced that they are disabled people mistakenly born into able bodies. They insist on using crutches and wheelchairs even though they don't need them, or in more extreme cases attempt to break their spines (or go overseas to get their lower spines severed) so that they can realize their "true identity" as paraplegics.

Again, this isn't so different from transsexuality.

Most homosexuals were sexually abused as children.

Now they want the military to pay for their mutilation as though that would help them cope.....

Good Lord!!!

Cut the spine!!??

The myraid mental illnesses or defects of the brain are truly terrifying.

Read of one guy with a head injury that caused any food he looked at to be a horrid grayish color.

He committed suicide.

As for transgender, or whatever they are, they are no different than the people you speak of and are NOT FIT for military service.

Or much else.

I had a discussion about this. My estimate per soldier for a transgender “operation” and subsequent treatment was around $10,000-$15,000. I was extremely off base. I read that their operations are $130,000 and up. In some prison systems, this is a right to have the state pay for it.My God is this country insane. POS Obama, worthless Congress and libtard, tyrannical judges really stuck it to us. We will reap the hell for generations if the Republic lasts that long.

Those are physical ailments, not psychological.

This transgender acknowledges an important fact. Transgenders are reliant on continuing medication and medical care.

The problem, in my opinion, is that to many people accepted this made up fake idea that people can change gender. The way I see it, there is no such thing as a "transgender", as no one can transform their gender. There is no gender called "trans", on male and female. If you habe XY chromosomes, you are male, XX, you are female and changing clothes, hair styles, surgeries or hormones will not change that.

I think the President made a mistake in banning a made up fake gender that does not exist. He banned something that should not be acknowledged as legitimate. This issues need to be a simple dress code issue.

If you are male you wear this uniform as part of the dress code. If you female you wear that uniform as a dress code.

Having certain mental conditions would also exempt you from service, Gender dysphoria would be one of those mental conditions.

That is true, but the point is there are pages and pages of medical issues that preclude military service for the reasons mentioned- they may not have access to medical care.

Once a person that believes they are another sex decides to transition their issues become physical medical issues on top of the psychological issues they already have.

Anyone that truly supports the military would not support allowing transgenders. The other thing is though if you truly support transgenders you should not want them in the military either because they may not have needed care available. It is not supporting a person with mental or medical needs or both to want them to be somewhere they may not have access to the care they need.

This is another instance where what the liberals want makes no sense.

So one of them finally admits that transgenderism is a disorder. Amazing.

Transgenger is real. Like Aspergers, bi polar disorder, schizophrenia are real. No one’s fault and they should be free to live their lives, but without special protections, and without society being forced to turn biology and DNA on its head.

All that is missing is a full set of requirements. For example, anyone can enlist in the military in the gender that they exhibit. As soon as a desire to become the alternate gender manifests, the enlistee would be discharged. Not really different for anyone who developed a disability to do the job as required. (My cousin was discharged after a disabling traffic accident), the military provided for his care but as a discharged individual, not on active duty , because he could no longer perform his “duty”.

The same in my opinion would go for a transgender seeking hormone therapy or surgery. Out you go, now the therapy and surgery would be handled as elective procedures and not covered by the VA. Has anyone looked at what is appropriate VA coverage and what is not?

Couldn’t the enemy keep you from your drugs for torture purposes, if they captured you?

At least somebody is sane here.

The doctors and hospitals doing the procedures are making boodles of money paid by “The Normals” through taxes and insurance premiums.

There's a psychiatric disorder (I forget the term for it) where people are absolutely convinced that one of their arms or legs is an alien entity rather than a part of their bodies.

BIID...Body Integrity Identity Disorder.

Also, as psychiatrist Dr. Paul McHugh of Johns Hopkins says, people who claim to be transgender tend to have various kinds of mental dysfunction, and sex change surgery doesn’t leave them any happier or better balanced than they were before. In a world where common sense ruled, the military could just say “These people are wack jobs and wack jobs interfere with the mission.” It should be their call.

No prob with gays, trannies, etc in military, until it becomes an issue to THEM...and when it does I don’t want them on our front lines of defense focused more on their private parts and social attitudes than upon an enemy attacking our country. If they STFU, they can serve, if it is “important” to them and needs discussion, then they are not qualified.

Pumping hormones of the opposite sex into a surgically mutilated person. Who was the genius that thought of this horrific idea?
