Last week Trump supporters and leftist social justice warriors met on the political field of battle in Berkeley, California. Words were exchanged, as were punches. And while an alt-right leader was punched in the face, by all accounts even the social justice warriors admit that they got a major beat-down.
This prompted a reddit discussion among the left’s tolerant resistance movement, with many asking how they can more effectively go to war against anyone who disagrees with their social, political, and economic views.
The anti-Trump protesters at the rally were ill-prepared for what they came to Berkeley to confront and now they are trying to figure out ways to ensure it doesn’t happen again.
In short, as predicted, they are turning to militancy and mob action by mobilizing individuals and groups to attend combat training seminars, acquiring better equipment like baseball bats and helmets, and of course, if things really go bad… guns.
Yes, we seemed to have lost today. The alt-right held their ground. If we wanna take action against them, we need to be better organized and better trained. It doesn’t help that it’s only the far left opposing them, any trump supporter can be radicalized far easier than any liberal.

I've got an uber liberal thespian brother in law. He and I on occasion will visit a brewery to have a few craft beers. Without fail, he attempts to draw me into political conversations. I don't take the bait. Last time was pretty recent down in NOLA. He was calling Trump a *ick head and railing on his policies about muzzie immigration and such.
I simply said, “It's a shame our country is so divided”. He fabricated his own reality and assumed we were meeting on common ground. Pretty funny.
I live by the saying, “keep your friends close, enemies closer”.
I could wipe his @$$ in political fact, but there's no purpose in it.....he will always be a liberal.
It was Kennedy (or maybe Johnson) who federalized the National Guard to force Alabama to desegregate. I think there’s precedent for it.
Only the Governor of the state can call out the national guard under the circumstances you have outlined.
I think someone WANTS to provoke a Weimar type situation.
The job of controlling the violent rioters is a police chore;
if the political leadership (leftists) abdicate their duty,
and the police do the same, then THEY are just as complicit
in leading the country into anarchy as the rioters.
IMHO the FIRST course of action should be to shame, embarrass, or pressure the political leaders to do their duty
to society and control riots and defend free speech.

Apparently Trump only focuses on groups who protest for the release of his tax returns. Not a word from them on these civil rights violations.
Salon laments that the Left no longer owns the protest and Berkeley "Black Bloc" anarchists no longer have free reign over the city to smash and burn without consequence.
They really don’t need a trigger, just a Trump rally ... but Ann Coulter appearing in the Bezerkely octagon on April 27 should be real battle royale.
This is failure to enforce our immigration laws in microcosm—ironically, Ann’s speech topic; the `salutary neglect’ (as the school administration must see it, shown by California university police in not rounding up black-clad masked cowards as soon as they appear) breeds disrespect for law. And as we saw in San Jose, police channeled Trump supporters into an actual gauntlet of thugs.
The black-clad, “anti-fa”/fascist, LARPer, cowardly criminals with way too much time on their hands will again show up masked, again in violation of California law, and with who-knows-what-weapons, and the claret will again flow in lawless Berkeley.
Attendees should carefully document the actions or inactions of the university, and Berkeley’s failure to protect invitees—towards which they owe a highest duty of care—so that lawsuits can be filed against Gov. Moonbeam, the Board of Trustees, the police chief and anyone else involved, in order to seek personal judgments against them for their shameful, collective dereliction of duty in allowing anarchists to run riot in one of California’s `marketplace of ideas’ jewels, the so-called birthplace of freedom of speech in the `60s.

Many people made fun of the large number of demonstrators on both sides who were filming, but that is among the most important jobs. The left has more training in propaganda. Given a chance, they will release carefully edited partial film of what happened to prove their point. By having the full story, we can reduce the effectiveness of any propaganda they create.
They do want anarchy, since they think they will win. I expect this to get ugly, but I also suspect they have vastly underestimated the capabilities of decent people and our support in institutions they are counting on.
Our side is extremely angry, have been for some time now. However, how does one go about fighting a brainwashed mob of idiots that are granted immunity from law?
Organize? That’s not easy. You will be branded a Racist Nazi organization immediately by the SPLC and CNN will run with it. You will lose any potential recruits because no one wants to be a Nazi. You will be lucky not to lose your job, friends, and possibly family members for being a well known Nazi.
Ok, so manage to organize. Then what? Plan action? The feds in your group will have you all strung up on conspiracy charges in a heartbeat. You will get off most likely, but your Attorney will need $30,000.
Take action alone? Against the mob of poor little college kids that never hurt anyone? What are you going to do? Beat a snowflakes ass? Burn down a whole group of black masked transsexual regards? Either way your going to jail where your white ass is going to get torn apart.
Let’s be perfectly honest. The responsibility for resolving this lands fully on the government Law Enforcement we pay for. The DOJs exists for stopping this very type of civil rights violations. Yet they do NOTHING!
Berkeley, April 27th, y’all..!
The Berkeley police allowed this to happen and bear responsibility for where it goes from here.
History has repeatedly shown that when the authorities won’t use their position and power to control criminals and anarchists citizen vigilantes will fill the vacuum.
I have one of those. They fit great in wallets.

Lefties hold an event and conservative protesters hold signs, utilize their right to free speech and remain lawful, perhaps with a few rare exceptions. There is never a plan for violence and lawbreaking.
Conservatives hold an event and the masses of Marxist progressive brainwashed filth crawl out of the woodwork to burn, assault, commit myriad other crimes and then complain that they were somehow the ‘victims’ when they get their sorry asses handed to them.
Pretty stark dichotomy.
