Will “Bloody California” play the role “Bloody Kansas” played in the mid to late 1850s?
I had to refresh my history knowledge on
"Bleeding Kansas" / "Bloody Kansas" over at Wiki. My God, the parallels starting with the KansasNebraska Act of 1854 ARE amazing. That is a most apt analogy, indeed.
This has been simmering in the US for at least 50 years now, just about the same amount of time it took for the Civil War to turn hot.
