Should President Trump give fireside chats? (vanity)

FDR was known for his fireside chats. He used them to take his message directly to the American people.
Reagan was also known for taking his message directly to the American people.
Should President Trump give his own version of fireside chats?

Remember how Joe Biden said FDR went on TV to talk to the American people? But TV broadcasting as we know it now didn’t exist yet.
Imagine if a Republican had said something so factually incorrect.........

I think he already is - except in a large format, in person ;-) Even better when it’s televised!

Tweets have their place but chats from the Oval Office, televised of course, would be excellent.

Fireside chats are archaic, and were sort of OK when FDR was the President. Jimmie Carter RUINRD them when he tried to use them so the idea is worthless now.

He already does this. They’re called Tweets.
To: EveningStar
He should just do regular presentations (including PowerPoint presentations when appropriate) on his own YouTube channel.

I’m getting an eMail from the White House every day.
They talk of policies, achievements, and goals.

Forget Carter. I think Trump could carry them off well.

SNL did a Jimmah Carter “Plantside Chat”. Dan Ackroyd wore a cardigan next to a cold fireplace with a potted plant in front of it. Hilarious.

He needs more Reagan-like Oval Office Addresses.
To: EveningStar
I assume he’ll be carrying on the tradition of the Presidential weekly radio address?
