I have completed exhaustive analysis of the disputed Trump crowd shot and the CNN gigapixel crowd shot. As much as it pains me to say, the two images match quite well and the disputed crowd shot is legitimate and represents the actual crowd size. There was no deception on the part of the media.
I have four decades of experience as an advertising photographer. I am qualified to make this kind of analysis.
As a Trump supporter and voter I think it does us a great disservice to not deal honestly with issues such as these. In this case even the President and his staff have it wrong, and it hurts all of us.
I watched it on CSPAN and saw that the mall was filled. The entire 9 hr video is available on cspan.org
Same thing.
Thank you for finally grasping the concept of synonyms. Will you also revisit your original reply, and apologize to FReeper dragnet2 for presuming to correct him when he said nothing wrong, other than failing to use your preferred Latin term?
It’s still a dais, by the way.
Excellent!!!

Count the internet viewers and it tops 0’s.
Making it probably the most watched inauguration —ever—.
And I screencapped at about 25 minutes into the inauguration, and the mall was packed from the Capitol steps to that two level building at the Washington monument.
The OP and the media are full of it (horse $#!t.)
That is the key because none other than the CBC noted on Jan 20 that the picture was taken AN HOUR BEFORE the opening ceremonies even began! The media is promoting yet another MEGA hoax concerning Trump. I watched the inauguration live when Trump was sworn in & when the camera panned away to show the crowd - the place was filled to capacity because it was FOUR HOURS AFTER that picture the media shows was taken.
I watched the inauguration on the ‘net and at about 20 minutes in, took a screen cap.
It matched the jam packed full house pic; in that one, there were folks from the Capitol steps all the way to that two level building at the Washington monument.
Photo-whos-it and the msm (prolly one & the same) are baldfaced liars.
Good on Sean Spicer for setting the record straight & taking the msm to the woodshed!
Good on Sidebar Moderator for unleashing the Viking kitties on photo-whos-it !!
Probably a security decision.
Viewership for the events and Mr. Trumps speech, which was aired across all major broadcast and cable networks, was up from the 20.6 million who watched Mr. Obama get sworn in for a second time four years ago.
But Mr. Obamas first inauguration in 2009 scored a larger television audience, with 37.8 million tuning in, according to Nielsen.
The ratings for Mr. Trump were on par with George W. Bushs first inauguration in 2001 and Bill Clintons first in 1993, which brought in 29 million and 29.7 million viewers, respectively. Ronald Reagan had 41.8 million viewers in 1981.
Little Jeremiah,
Many thanks for posting the link!!!!
Good on Indiana Congressman Todd Rokita for tweeting this out!!

Awesome pic!!!!
MAGA!!
Major Garrett said those plum bleacher seats near the White House were empty because the VIPs for whom they were reserved were stuck in security.
Thanks every seat filled and then some.
If you think the term shits and giggles is offensive....
That is upon you. Unclench your ass cheeks a bit. Live a little. Heck you probably find my freepname offensive.
My pleasure.
I explained why it offends me: It forces me to think of shit when I prefer not to. It has nothing to do with my ass cheeks. It has nothing to do with “living a little.” I can live a little without thinking about excrement. Apparently you can’t.
I agree. Given how many people went so far just to make it to his rallys, I think the two months promising less than peaceful protests at the inauguration kept many away. It kept me from thinking of going.
Liar! Three of the reflecting pool areas are totally empty and the three closest to the Capitol have only a smattering of people and there is no one seated on the Capitol steps at all!
Idiot, the Gigapixel photo is NOT THE PHOTO the news media was using!
“Electoral votes count, not photos”
Exactly, which is why it was foolish to turn this into an issue.
You're right to suggest that the unemployed were likely to attend Obola's inauguration ceremonies.I'm retired and live about 400 miles from DC which,if traffic's not bad, would mean 6+ hours of driving.
One of the considerations for me was that I have a bad hip so walking...and even standing...can be tough. That combined with the threats of disruption by The Usual Suspects convinced me not to go.
