Swing State Polls Show Close Race Between Clinton,Trump (PA Tied)

A recent round of polls in battleground states shows the contest between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump much tighter than national polling.

Traditional swing states show a battle similar to the fight in 2012 between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney, with one exception. The emergence of Pennsylvania as a toss-up contest has already shifted the landscape ahead of November.

For Trump to be tied in PA, ahead in FL and OH, within MOE in VA, this is hugh and series.

This is good news, but does the poll sample include the deceased and those who cast 10 or more ballots in Philadelphia? Because if it left them out I have some doubts.

In my state of PA that is the rule, not the exception. If we can finally give Philly to New Jersey we’ll all be much, much happier.

A quick trip to my town reveals the heart of honest Pennsylvania. Our county owns an electronic billboard that read “Make America Great” for 2 weeks straight.

Yes, took I-84 to I-80 just south of Wilkes-Barre. Then all the way west and into Ohio, Indiana and finally Illinois. I’m actually only a few miles from I-84 here in Connecticut.

The biggest mistake Trump made in Wisconsin was to bad mouth Walker in the primary. Walker took this state from crap back to a decent economy, photo ID, lower taxes, defunding planned parenthood, crushed the state unions via Act 10 and got the budget u dear control. Cheese heads got mad at a Trump for telling them Walker wasn’t a good governor.

Well, he can’t trade PA for OH. Needs ‘em both, plus FL, NC, AZ, GA, TX and VA. Then he can afford to lose a CO or IA.

Maybe, but I don’t think Trump can win WI. He was ahead in only one poll in all the primary time. First he lost to Walker, then to Cruz. So I have never seen WI as Trumpland. IA? Maybe.

Good news. Regarding national polls - if Trump loses California by 100% and that’s bringing the national average down, it’s not the end of the world. The state by state polls are a much better indication.

I had him winning IA (he’s ahead in polls there) CO (ahead) TX, GA, NC (ahead) but NOT VA (I don’t think he’ll win there)

If he wins PA, and FL then he wins prez by 2 electoral votes WITHOUT OH.

If he wins OH and loses PA, he loses the prez unless he turns one blue state red: NV, NH, CT, MI....
