Target stocks continue to fall and are at almost a $20 loss per share, but that isn’t stopping the retail company from suing one of their own customers who saved another shopper from a stabbing attack.
Target stocks plunged $2.5 Billion in just 10 days once word got out about the company's pandering to less than half a percent of the population, which would open up bathrooms to those of the opposite gender. The stocks continue to fall and are at almost a $20 loss per share, but that isn't stopping the retail company from suing one of their own customers who saved another shopper from a stabbing attack.
Breitbart reported on a 2013 event in which Michael Turner grabbed a baseball bat and used it to chase of an attacker and save the life of a young woman who was being attacked in a Target store. Instead of offering praise or award for Mr. Turner, the store has chosen instead to sue him for endangering other customers in the store with the bat. No, this is not satire.
Target, however, is less grateful for Mr. Turner's heroics. And now the retailer is suing him for "endangering" the store's customers.
According to the company's filing, Target says Turner and several others chased the suspect toward the store's entrance after the attack on the girl. The store insists Turner put other shoppers at risk with his actions.
The victim of the stabbing and her family are furious with the retail chain and say Target is just trying to shift the blame away from its own security failures.
"Suing Michael Turner is just Target's way of trying to blame someone else for what happened under their own roof," the Meadows family attorney said. "The family certainly doesn't blame Mr. Turner and they are thankful he was there that day."
Can you say "stupid"? Who is calling the shots at Target? Is Target CEO Brian Cornell aware of this incident? If so, does he not have enough sense to put an end to such a ridiculous and frivolous lawsuit? There is no way a jury will side with Target against Mr. Turner.
Mr. Turner should be held as selfless hero who put his own life at risk to save another. I'm wondering now if Mr. Turner or the young lady will ever step foot again in another Target store.
To be sure, Target's competitors are probably having a field day over this as more and more business leaves the transgender supporting, criminal aiding retail company. I say, "Good riddance!"
Even going with the Snopes story still doesn't justify the suit.
Some companies just deserve to die.
There is no doubt that the leftists publish false stories to push agendas and sway public opinion but also to get the right in an uproar then make fun if them later when it's revealed to be false. You see the leftists have too much time on their hands because they're not working and living off of mommy and daddy's dime posting from their basements.
I put no credence whatsoever into anything that the liberal dipsquats at Snopes says about anything.
They lie, obfuscate and advocate...their agenda is specifically liberal and they barely try to hide it anymore.
So...Snopes...fail.
If target shoppers are this mad over the bathroom issue, voters would also be mad over Obama enacting the policy.
I think he finally went too far. Even liberals don’t want their children in bathrooms with deranged people.

It would seem to me that Walls is the one “endangering” customers here, not Turner. Turner is trying to stop the endangering.

Target has been declining since the 1950s. The founder of Dayton Hudsons Store was a member of Westminister Presbyterian Church in Downtown Minneapolis. His son took over for a time than a grandson and Cousins decide to move from the conservative roots to liberal values. Target has been sued in the past by NAACP. It also has been sued by the the Federal Government for problems with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
keep this in mind - Minnesota is known for its progressive idealogy. It is known for inclusive ideology. Minnesota has the biggest program for the developmentally disabled.
I am not making allowances for Target, just tracing the downward development of a business.
The failure of Target’s business will be a B-School case in several years. Our final exam in B-School was an analysis of Playboy Enterprises c. 1970. It was fun. The Target case will be even more fun.

Snopes isn’t actually lying, just telling the part of the story that makes Target look good.
The homeless man, named Walls, knifed a guy down the street, then ran into Target. The victims friends first CALLED THE POLICE, then followed him in, Walls pulled the knife on one of them, chasing him around the store while trying to stab him, then grabbed the girl.
They tried to talk him down, but he started to stab the girl so they THEN picked up the bat and stopped him.
By then the police had arrived and joined the battle with pepper gas. One cop was also hurt by the perp.
Would be nice to be called to jury duty on any counter suit against Target. I’d like to see the name changed from Target to Turner
Gift cards are already counted as revenue at the time it is acquired so you didn’t add to their bottom line.
Women who allow their daughters in Target bathrooms and dressing rooms should be investigated for child abuse.
I have also noticed the Trump Effect. People are starting to seriously and in an organized manner question and act upon some of the idiotic things the PC/liberal crowd have been getting away with from years. The Toilet Crisis of 2016 might be their Waterloo (so to speak).
And the liberals are genuinely scared.

Yes, I know. Retailers love gift cards because people often don’t spend them. We got this particular gift card last Dec and it had just sat in the drawer. If we didn’t spend it, then it would just be pure profit for Target.
