From the article: Donald Trump is the Republican presumptive nominee, but ... you'll read articles urging voters never to support him. Ignore them.
Many of these Trump opponents are principled people. Some fear Trump, ... they believe ... that America and its institutions, ... cannot endure a Trump presidency....
... Trump's most vocal opponents -- prefer a president they can control... Trump is a wild card, and in a race between the devil they know and the one they don't, they'll take Hillary Clinton every time. Another four years of a Democratic president is, after all, good for business. And they aren't hiding it. Some ... have already declared themselves "Ready for Hillary."
... These anti-Trump factions ask Americans to withhold their vote or call on the GOP to commit mass political suicide and pursue a ... more "mainstream" candidate.... even though Trump has swept to victory in states as diverse as Alabama and Massachusetts, and even though mass defections ... will hand the election to Clinton and the Democrats.
Those who argue that another Clinton White House is somehow preferable to ... Trump are blind to the consequences -- for the nation, for the party and for the conservative movement.
A Clinton presidency means a Supreme Court with ... maybe three new liberal justices.
It means a doubling down on the Obama foreign policy that fostered the resurgence of a belligerent Russia, the rise of ISIS and chaos across the Middle East.
It means government agencies from the EPA, IRS, DHS, ... staffed by Clinton appointees, enshrining the executive overreach of the Obama administration into law.
... it means liberalism in ascendancy. We cannot allow GOP elites to hand the future to an increasingly leftist Democratic Party. The country simply has too much to lose. Trump's voters understand that.

A president they can control? That ain’t hillary, by God...
Never Trump = Ready for Hillary.
Goodbye Second Amendment. Hello Socialist state. It’s as simple as that.
Sorry, no can do. My tagline used to be "Proudly posting before reading the article since 1999!"
I admire your wit!
But I had to say it for the others that post nonsense.
I’m sick of threads (mine) disappearing because of whining creepers with losing candidates. They claim to be conservative purists yet they are willing to allow a clinton to reoccupy the WH.
It’s not logical or rational or in the interest of survival.
If the article has excerpt limits, you need to abide by them. Are you trying to get Jim sued?
I'll second that.
Delete post 1 because it exceeds the word limits.
On Free Republic? I doubt that! This is Trump-friendly territory.
Are the threads being pulled for other reasons?
Thanks, they already deleted it. Is it acceptable to add parts in quotes throughout a thread?
It’s totally not the OP’s fault that their posts keep getting pulled. It’s everyone else’s fault for not commenting properly on them. Of course, OP had no idea how their previous post that got pulled was posted to Breaking News, but hey, not their fault. Do NOT make any comments that disagree in any way with OP.
I followed the one for nearly 300 posts and one guy was booted. But everyone was having a civil discussion. No name calling or cussing. Maybe it deteriorated after I left, don’t know.
How does an article get into breaking news, clue me in. I’ve never put any article in breaking news, but some end up there.
This particular article was from CNN. So it was chopped to 300 words as an excerpt. Few will read the rest, we know.
Roos, Disagree all you want, that is why we’re here for discussion. Are you the one that had the Texas Republican Convention thread pulled?
It is a rude assault on conservatism when half the Texas delegation walks out before Jeff Sessions speaks. We should be discussing that right here on FR. And the thread was very civil in comparison to what has been here in the past.
The purpose of the quadrennial convention was to deal with the POTUS nomination, not to ‘snub’ the winner and not to ignore the need for ‘party unification.’ Again, that behavior and direction deserves FR critique.
An article gets into breaking by tagging the Breaking News button in the posting form. An admin mod can also move an article there, or of course, remove one.
I did not ask for the article to be removed. Many have been removed lately because of Trump/Cruz disagreements; flamewars. I read that article, I don’t recall anywhere in it that told an actual number of delegates that left. Why do you say it was half? Are you assuming or did I miss it in the article?
I guess Texans don’t like womanizing alphas so much. who knows?
Huh? I only said she violated the excerpt length between the thread article and her follow on post.
