Ohio Gov. John Kasich plans to suspend his run to be the GOP presidential nominee, a senior campaign advisor told NBC News on Wednesday.
He had previously cancelled a planned event in order to make a Wednesday night statement in Ohio.
Kasich was left the only man standing against Donald Trump in the Republican presidential primary race after Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas suspended his run on Tuesday night.

I tried, I mean I really tried to listen to the entire first hour of today’s program.
I couldn’t do it, for exactly the reason you gave. It was incoherent babbling.

I am revising my forecast for Trump delegates going into the convention to 1400-1500 and he may pick up another 200-300 at the convention.

Yeah, now Kasich will have to just go back to his favorite

I have no issue with Carson being VP, that or surgeon general would be good for him.
Personally I would rather see Carson in the Surgeon General's position, a better fit for his skills and experience, I think he could be as great or greater than C. Everett Koop.
For VP, I hope that Trump would select someone with solid conservative credentials (of course), and preferably a veteran with combat experience which leads to my personal favorite, Congressman Duncan Hunter of California.

I don’t think Carson is on the list for VP at all.

It will be, IMO, a quiet, steady worker who can go to the hill and do the dirty trench work to
get things passed. His VP will not be passive but be expected to be a COO for legislation.
If that is the criteria, then Trump could do little better than to select former Senator Jim Demint,
now President of the Heritage Foundation:

It would look silly for Trump to oick someone whom he said reminded him of a child molester.

" If that is the criteria, then Trump could do little better than to select former Senator Jim Demint, now President of the Heritage Foundation"
Hate to tell you this, but Demint has gone squishy. Heritage's head economist is Steven Moore...tied at the hip with Grover Norquist and ALL about TPP type trade and AMNESTY, cheap foreign labor. Heritage has sold out to the big lobby $$$.
It's all about immigration and bad trade, like TPP. Jim Demint even supports Paul Ryan. So does Newt! DeMint was fading more and more and went to work for Heritage. Heritage's head economist is Steven Moore, open border hack who along with Norquist & Cesar Conda destroyed Prop. 187 in Ca. We have no institutions left fighting this! Do you understand? They've all been compromised!

I’ve got nothing against Carson but I agree. Nothing he has done indicates to me that he would be a good President of the Senate if needed....
