Ohio Gov. John Kasich plans to suspend his run to be the GOP presidential nominee, a senior campaign advisor told NBC News on Wednesday.
He had previously cancelled a planned event in order to make a Wednesday night statement in Ohio.
Kasich was left the only man standing against Donald Trump in the Republican presidential primary race after Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas suspended his run on Tuesday night.

What you say about Newt is true, and I would not be unhappy about him as a vp.
Not too happy about Newt and Pelosi on the sofa though.

Please Donald, please DO NOT choose Carson. He will be a non-stop gaff machine.
The left will be thoroughly entertained
I would like it much better if carson wasn't involved in selecting the VP at all.

Rubio couldn’t win Florida. Where was his Hispanic coalition? They did not show up. He is Zero help to Trump.Rubio is not running for reelection. Thus far, he is out of the government.

I believe it was obvious all along he was in to take out Cruz. Mission accomplished and he wasted no time making it obvious. So it was KASICH that took out Cruz!!
Of course, because if Kasich had dropped out, then Cruz could have gone one-on-one with Trump where he would have been certain to win.
Geesh.

It will be, IMO, a quiet, steady worker who can go to the hill and do the dirty trench work to get things passed. His VP will not be passive but be expected to be a COO for legislation.

I want a Hunter or a Sessions. Anything less, and Trump’s whole campaign about a wall will lose him MILLIONS of actual votes.
BANK on it!

Interesting timing on the two suspensions. These two didn’t just now see the light and become reasonable human beings. What do you think was the price for each to get out of the way?

Ohio.. That’s significant. And there are quite a few old folks that dig his “aww shucks.. Can’t we all just get along” act.

Carson is too low energy and knows nothing about the Senate. If it is to be a black candidate, how about The Honorable Colonel Allen B. West?

The fight is barely winding down over who the Presidential nominee will be, and here we go with a brand new one over the VP...
Holy smokes!
I still have to vote in the primary...
