Well that’s a helluva note. While I liked DeMint, my personal favorite remains Congressman Duncan Hunter of California.

Well scratch DeMint. I’m reminded of an ABC Newscast with the late Peter Jennings, reporting on one of NASA’s probes passing out of the solar system, he received an update which he relayed, saying that due to some technical issues, the space probe would be unable to transmit any data regarding the planet Uranus, and without thinking he looked into the camera and said “well, scratch Uranus”.
It hit him what he had just said, and he just put his face down on the desk as the crew behind him erupted in hysterical laughter. From that day on, he pronounced the name of that planet “Yur-Uh-Nus”.
