So, heres whats going on: Trump wants delegates from the state of Washington, so the campaign sent out an email soliciting possible delegates on Friday, April 8 to let everyone know that the deadline to submit their Declaration of Candidacy for Delegate form was Wednesday, April 6.
Oh, no.
It gets worse, though.
There is no deadline anyway. Well, there sort of is, but it isnt April 6 across the board; Washington has a number of conventions that all take place on different days and have different deadlines.. The gaffe would have reflected poorly on the campaign if theyd send a reminder for a legitimate deadline two days after it passed, but they now look doubly bad for sending the email two days after the deadline and not even researching to learn this, via Caleb Heimlich, executive director of the Washington state Republican Party:
Any convention or caucus (the counties are hosting them on a rolling basis from March 12 to April 16) has a filing deadline 72 hours before the event in order to appear on the ballot.
So, possible delegates can still try to get nominated from the floor, even if they cant appear on the ballot.
It gets worse, though.

“Somebody needs to do some head bowling and get a new team.”
Trump always hires “the best.” Trump said so, himself.
The veracity of his statement is self-evident in this article.
I agree with JR;

Cruz has lost it fair and square and should step aside for the sake of the country.
If his continued efforts at thievery split and destroy the party,
well be saddled by Hillary or burned by Bernie.

Cruz lost the primary vote and is now aiding and abetting the enemy (the GOPe)
in their treasonous attempt to deny the nomination to the winner.
Cruz is a sore loser turned traitor against the grassroots voters.
And the foolish neophyte thinks the GOPe is going to let him have a shot at the presidency
if he helps them block Trump?
Laughable if it wasnt so serious.

Trump is in over his head as his candidate.
I’m in Washington State. They first wanted to name the state Columbia, after the river that flows through our state. But, then they figured that would cause to much confusion, with .....

.
District of Columbia.
.
.
.
So - they named us Washington instead.
Oh - regarding names. The liberals thought that King County shouldn’t be named after some white settler (Rufus King). So they “changed” the name to King County - after Martin Luther King. (Although they did have to spend millions changing the county symbol with MLK’s face now on signs, letterheads, seals, etc.)
“He may be a bungling, incompetent buffoon, but he’s my bungling incompetent buffoon.” /Trump supporter
I thought it was 8.
;-)
William Rufus DeVane King was not a white settler. He was a senator from Alabama and Franklin Pierce’s Vice President.
dang you got the perfect line first.
Actualy the Trumpists tell us it was 9 women. And one trannie.
Trump will lose as badly as Goldwater did.
Anybody have a link to that CO guy whining. What a putz.
And he’ll do it without spending any money. Saving your way to prosperity appears to be the Trump way.
////Trumps not put together a solid foundation in his campaign and its beginning to show. Cant just depend on free media by insulting folks, calling them liars and cheats.
Not true, not true! Trump always hires the best and will make American grapes again by hiring the best!/s
Thanks - but he was a white guy!

The internet is great - but a time waster! But above is an interesting link with a look at William Rufus King. (Neighboring Pierce County was named after the president at the time - makes sense!)
He was inaugurated as VP while he was in Cuba. Barely made it back to the states to Alabama and died there. Never making it to the White House. (Times were sure different back then!)
>> Somebody needs to do some head bowling and get a new team <<
Remember what Mike Dukakis used to say:
The fish bowls from the head down!
Yep. Lather, “Reince”, Repeat!
It is the work of the GOPe!!
>> Trump will lose as badly as Goldwater did <<
Might just turn out to be worse. Goldwater won Mississippi. But the latest poll from down there has Mr. Trump and Hillary within the margin of error.
