1. Trump, A+ -- Fought like a champion. Finally, someone with the guts to call out our nation for being 15 years at war, still killing our sons and daughters so politicians can put a feather in their cap, and most of them calling for more war. Bush wants BWIII, Bush War III
2. Carson, A-, quietly but effectively said that he was in it for the people, that he'd been asked to run, and that he wasn't there for any other reason. Outstanding.
3. Rubio, B+, Say what you like, but Rubio wiped the floor with Cruz on the immigration question. The April 2015 video shows Cruz supporting 'talking about what to do with immigrants after the wall is built.' It shows him calling for massive increases in H1B visas.
4. Cruz, C, Clearly the most knowledgeable about the supreme court vacancy. He needs to stop misrepresenting others' positions. Trump called him out on the Planned Parenthood question. Trump has clearly called for defunding PP if they keep doing abortions. If they voluntarily stop doing abortions, then he would support their doing breast exams and pap smears and the like.
5. Kasich, C, Did a Mr. Rogers in the neighborhood act. Hillary Clinton will eat his lunch.
6. Bush, F-, This man is totally lacking in insight. He actually called for another war in the middle east AND he wants to fund Al Qaeda in Syria. He's simply not up to the task.
The serial lies of Cruz have all been misrepresentations of truth.
He misrepresents on Planned Parenthood.
He uses video from the 90’s while ignoring anyone else’s ability to change, ALTHOUGH he’s more than willing to say he changed on: H1B, permitting illegals to stay, Corker Iran bill, TPA, and others. And we’re just talking changes from only MONTHS ago in his case.
Cruz’s biggest lie that he wants us to believe: that he had a Canadian birth certificate in hand and didn’t know he had Canadian citizenship. Really hard to believe for a super lawyer, a brilliant Harvard law school grad, a clerk for a chief justice, ...
That brilliant lawyer didn’t check....or so he says.
I thought Bush’s whining about how “my dad is the greatest,” and “my mom is the toughest,” was a bit on the pathetic side. I liked it when Trump said, regarding Bush’s mom, “she should be running.”
Say what you will, Trump bravely went where no other republican candidate would go, when it comes to Bush2’s war in Iraq. He should have taken it even farther, and said that Bush1 was wrong to get us involved in the First Gulf War.
Oh come on, that’s Twilight Zone stuff I expect from Michael Moore. So on the one hand you believe the Bushes are weak compassionate conservatives, and on the other hand you believe they have an urge for retribution for a failed assassination attempt that would lead them to waste thousands of lives and $trillions on a petty vendetta?
The cognitive dissonance just screams.
I mean there is certainly a case to be made for Trump, but you guys have gone off the rails and into the weeds.
So trump wins because he is a fighter.
Carson is almost as good because he is not a fighter.
I get it.
Trump wins no matter what.
Alternatively trump behaved like a three year old child and lost badly.
Jeb us running and attacked Trump.
That never occurred to me.
You’re lying just like Cruz. I never defended PP, just explained why women would go there for services other than abortions.
“Alternatively trump behaved like a three year old child and lost badly.”
That is the correct assumption.
I turn 65 in a few months, and I agree with you that SS disability is one of the biggest frauds I have ever seen. Eliminate the fraud in that program alone and SS would remain solvent.
I know several people who collect SS Disability and their only disability is that they are fat and lazy.
thanks for the FACTS.
I’m agreeing with you, even if I didn’t phrase it right!
I was trying to say that even now, many will not be getting their money back so cutting benefits makes it even mire unfair.
There are a lot that get much more than they paid in, but their benefits will never be cut under this socialized system.
AGree.
CRuz rolled the dice on telling a lie, about Trump and PP, last night. The truth of Trump’s PP position, as you’ve pointed out, is out there....and will turn around to bite CRuz in the back side.
Snakily slithering through a campaign and hissing out lies, like CRuz is, is not very Christian-like, nor does it play well with conservatives.
I think that assassination attempt predisposed him to taking out Saddam Hussein. Yes.
I think that’s rational.
I also think Saudi Arabia feared Saddam and thought with the US in charge of Afghanistan and the US in charge of Iraq, that the US would have Iran sandwiched, not counting control of the Persian Gulf.
Do I think Bush was engaging in neo-conservative nation building from the start?
Yes.
No I was actually responding to whoever wrote the article. I just couldn’t believe anyone but Carson’s wife could give him an A-. That is just weird.
About time. Itâs about time that conservatives stop pretending itâs âpatrioticâ to constantly send our young men and women over to wars that arenât our business so that they can get their arms and legs blown off or be killed. Itâs time to end this nonsense about âeither you support the wars or else you donât support the troops.â

#41 wrote a book which was published this past November. I haven’t read it but I understand he throws Cheney & Rumsfeld under the bus for their post 9/11 “hawkishness.”
Spot on, xzins. Not to mention that when the poster resorts to name calling, you know you’ve won the argument, FRiend.

Our political class has already given you a “haircut” as full retirement age is now 66 y/o.
Trump wins because he is a fighter.
Carson is 2nd because of integrity.
The others are a mixture of cowards, liars, and politicians (but I repeat myself.)
I agree. Sometimes the truth is not what you want to hear. For years I have defended the war, but I must admit now that Trump is right.
The war was NOT good when Bush left office. We were 8 years into it, and there was not ONE place that a US soldier could walk alone and not be in danger of immediate death.
Not one.
8 years after WWII ended, GIs were marrying Frauleins and raising kids.
