Donald Trump will be sharing the stage with another businessman-turned-political-figure at his rally in Georgia on Monday night--former presidential candidate Herman Cain.
Cain--a radio host who also was CEO of Godfather's Pizza--ran for the 2012 Republican nomination before dropping out of the race in December 2011 as allegations of past sexual misconduct escalated (he denies the allegations). Cain announced his plans to speak at the evening rally on his website caintv.com, and he used the post as an opportunity to rip into Jeb Bush after the former Florida governor implied that people now leading in the polls could ultimately "flame out" like Cain.
The post titled "Big talk from Mr. 5.5 percent" starts out:
"Someone should tell Jeb Bush that I've accepted an invitation to speak at Donald Trump's rally this coming Monday in Georgia. I accepted for a simple reason: He asked," Cain writes. "But Gov. Bush seems weirdly interested these days in the connection--if only in his own mind--between what he thinks happened to me and what he thinks is going to happen to Trump."
Cain then goes on to explain his past poll standings, why he eventually dropped out of the race, and why Bush's campaign is in need of a major rethink.

He gets results and I like his style of leading.
We would be much better off if Herman Cain had been our first (100%) Black President.
It’s a hoot (as in funny) because Cain is going to sandbag Jeb Bush, former FL governor, brother of GW Bush.
Well, we seem to have a humor-deficit today at FR. Yes, I thought Cain was a hoot as I find Trump a hoot - that was a compliment. Bringing energy and fun to a campaign is what helped pushed these guys to the top. I can’t wait to watch the video of these guys together.
And since I’m always defending the south on this site, I don’t appreciate you classifying me as some elitist who doesn’t like southern gentleman. Get a grip!
Yes, thank you, that’s what I meant. I love Cain and supported him in the primary until he left the campaign.
Nice guy, but he couldn’t get past the 9-9-9.
You are welcome.
Yes, that witch Gloria Allred was supposed to produce a gaggle of other witches to prove Cain's guilt, if memory serves. It all disappeared once Cain was out. So the bimbo wanted justice while Cain was running, but forgot about it afterwards.
Say...isn't It about time for this week's Jebster Campaign relaunch...or re-re-re-re-launch?
Yup, tonight!

Trump!
Herman spoke at an Atlanta-area county GOP event I attended back in June or July. Back then, he was saying to watch Trump, that he liked the way that campaign was looking.
I donated heavily to Herman’s campaign in 2012. And still get called a RACIST! by Leftists.
The GOP-e took Herman out with crappola allegations.
Loved Herman.....he was running as a bit of an outsider.
GOP-e types don’t like anyone that will derail their gravy train.

Hubby and I were serious Cain supporters. Donations, signs, t-shirts, bumper stickers...
It still makes me sad that he caved to the pressure, but I saw the writing on the wall the moment I found out that his wife wasn’t supportive. It really does take a team effort to do this.
There was nothing wrong with 9-9-9. The problem was that he bowed the instant that there was pressure on that (and every front). He slid back and said, “Well, rebate checks for the poor...” then “Well, we won’t take XXX as income...” then “Of course not seniors...”
He tried to make everyone happy.
You can’t make everyone happy. You LEAD and do what’s best overall.
“It still makes me sad that he caved to the pressure, but I saw the writing on the wall the moment I found out that his wife wasnât supportive.”
That’s when I figured he probably was guilty. His wife’s lack of support in her interviews, derailed him. I think he should have admitted it and stayed in.
I also liked him a lot.
